List of O8 games
I inferred from discussion on this thread that there really isn't a good listing of live FLO8, PLO8, and NLO8 games. Jeff Hwang has a general Omaha list including some O8 that appears to be pretty old. For example, i currently play in a semiweekly LO8 game in Detroit that moved rooms about a year ago, but i don't see Michigan even listed on there.
So, maybe we should compile a list. I'll start. All fixed-limit unless otherwise noted.
USA
VEGAS
Last summer I played a pretty regular $8/16 (can't recall if a kill) at the Venetian during the WSOP. They also had an even more regular $4/8.
I think the Bellagio has $30/60 pretty regularly, but I haven't hunted down the appropriate B&M thread to verify this.
CALIFORNIA
Buzz says Hollywood Park, Inglewood, has a $40/80 and a $20/40 mix with stud 8. I played in a $6/12 with some sort of kill last summer at the Bicycle.
MICHIGAN
Greektown, Detroit:
$5/10 full kill
Saturdays, 7:00 (yes, 7 am) to somewhere between 20:00 and 24:00
Tuesday, 11:00, usually breaks before 17:00
Snookers, Utica
suiteddeuces runs a $1-2 PL game multiple times a week.
MISSISSIPPI

I used to play in a $4/8 half kill at the Horseshoe, which had moved from the Gold Strike. This as of 2009.
NEW JERSEY

Cbus Ohio continues with a regular Sunday Lo8 and a thursday stud8/o8 mix.
I would love to see a thread alerting of upcoming o8 and especially plo8 tourneys. Im aware of Live Maryland has a regular Monday night plo8.
Guy named Dean puts together a 10/20 Omaha hi/lo cash game on Friday nights at 7pm at Poker House Austin.
Any games in Vegas? Asking for a friend.
Haven’t seen it mentioned, Hollywood Park has been running a 5/5 $1k Omaha mix for 8 months, and the action is insane. The mix is PLO, PLO8 and Double board bombs($15). Getting 2-3 tables going nightly.
Eastern Oregon (Ontario) plays NLO8, NLBig O, PLBig O most days as a Button (once per round of Hold'em) , and there are dedicated games on the weekends. Limits are usually 1/2 with a $6-$10 straddle option that always seems to be taken.
Limit O8 4/8 and 8/16 with half kill runs every day at the Orleans in Las Vegas. 15/30 LO8 also runs there sometimes.

During WSOP BigO 1/2/5 and higher runs every day at Paris Las Vegas in and next to the King's area.
Hit me up if you know of any O8/Big O running in Canada.
Hollywood in Shoreline - just started up and runs occasionally. Nice floor people/owners. They have designated days that 10/20, 15/30 runs.
I'm guessing this game includes many regs I would have played with (6/12 and 15/30) from 2012 to about 2016. I'm not supposed to ask about non-celebs on here I don't think but if anyone reading is a reg in this game, please DM me.

Can confirm this game runs daily. Insane might be a bit of an exaggeration. The 20/40 OE was still running occasionally last I checked (this past summer). It has kept the traditional number of hole cards for both games, unlike its cousin in Arizona. Unfortunately the old 40/80 straight O8 is completely dead AFAIK.

Are there any regular Limit O8/b games other than the 4/8 and 8/16 I see running at the Orleans and South Point? I'm curious if anything regularly, but on a certain day of the week, etc
Looking for some limit O8, or even limit mixed - stud8, low-ball triple draw games around Tampa. Any recommendations about which casinos would have a regular game going?
Regular 15/30 limit big O game at Legends in Houston. Kill button takes limits to 20/40. $5 Dealer change bomb pots played ultimate high/ultimate low. Players comprise all skill levels.
1/2 big O trying to become regular on Tuesdays at Westheimer Texas Card House, 2PM. Players more competent than the Legends field. $500 buy-in cap. They're afraid bomb pots will break the game, so for now, no bomb pots.

Theres a 20/40 O8 limit game at Wynn in Las Vegas on Mondays and wednesdays from 1pm (see poker atlas)
Also Boulder station Las vegas offers 4/8 and 8/16 Omaha high limit every day

To anyone else hoping this was still true im sad to say it isn't really. The game at Oxford downs broke at 4pm today (thurs) and apparently Melbourne hasn't seen a game for months.

Current status of Central Florida Big O Games
Tues/Thursday. 1/2/5 Big O at Oxford Downs. Public game. Tuesday game runs from 10 am until late evening. Thursday game generally runs from 10 am until 5.
Wednesday. 2/5/10 Big O at Orange City Poker Room. Private/Public. Game starts with private list then open to public. Game runs from 3 pm until approximately 10 pm. OP runs player list.
Friday. 5/5 Big O at Ocala Bets. Private list until late night. Game starts at noon and runs until 2 am or 3 am. Depending on player lineup, the game often runs big.
Melbourne 5/5 game. Hit or miss. Occasionally on Friday or Saturday starting late afternoon, Check Pokeratlas.
Palace Poker in Grand Prairie (Dallas), Texas
Thursday at 10am 10/20 LO8 4 card w/half kill. Just started a couple of weeks ago, hopefully the holidays don't kill it, lol. Was pretty much the same crew that used to have the game at Las Colinas.
Sunday at 10am: 1/2/5 Big O. Really good crowd. Started with 3 full tables yesterday. Seats/tables are drawn for right at 10 and if you're not there you may wait a long time for a seat, lol.
Adding to CALIFORNIA
There's a pretty regular 4/8 LO8 w/6/12 Kill game at Lucky Chances in Colma, CA (just south of SF. The town where all the dead people are buried...).
Its a bunch of old guys who play in it, they're all pretty funny, fun game.
The drop is kinda big, but such is life.
