ugly game is the kinda game pats need to win. they should keep it ugly, even if it means horrible penalties or fumbles by their own team. just keep the game in the muck

Has anyone done a scientific study on the effectiveness of fans waving things behind the endzone versus field goal effectiveness?

I vaguely remember a study in basketball FT shooting that said signs and stuff didnt do anything. But all the fans swaying back and forth in coordination actually did lower FT% by a measurable amount. I would assume its similar in FG kicking.
