Online Cash, play and focus on improvment.
I play poker as job, the best is cash game, you have less variance and it's more sustanable. the most important aspect is the bankroll managament if you're not a winning player or a big winning player as in the begining you should play with 50-100buy ins of your stake for be safe. when your winrate is very high the variance will reduce a lot and you can play with 25-40buy in s too. the best way for improve is to play less than possible and study much you can, in the begining the hourly profit will be 1$ a hour, but if you study and level ups you can do easly 10-20$ hourly, so studying on free youtube contents, taking coachin session for free (playing in a site for a coach someone as me too can give you free coaching tips), i played stakes between nl 50-200 for most of my career, for anything you need you can contact here on gmail [email protected]

With all that free time and no job, learn how to make money at a job outside of poker first. Learn a skill. Become a plumber, learn how to edit videos, teach yourself how to build a house. You need a fallback for when poker doesn't work because it doesn't work most of the time.
whatver format u want , thats the nice thing about poker - there is more then 1 way to success
find a game u can beat
play it alot
practice good BRM
Play Cash Game.
Get a job, finance your Bankroll and learning material from that.
Start at minimum NL25, PLO25. There is no point playing for $1/hour.
Learning: buy some video material, buy a GTO learning tool, do your learning constant every day. Play poker, and practice what you have learnt.
Poker is not easy money any more. You have to beat your selected game, be consistent, be very good at you BR management, be very good at your mental game. I would only choose online poker, if I would have the desire and joy to learn poker every day. You can still be a winning reg, be a "pro" relative easily, compared to other sports, but grinding a real job for relative good money is much more easier.
Living expenses have to be super low to build a roll from nothing these days normal expenses in the USA u have very little shot better to get a job and save that way.
if u wanna play n love the game do it , *** getting a 9-5 job n not enjoying ur life, look for backing deal lots of options for both CG n MTTs
that way u can take profit off, n move up stakes / get better at the game w/ coaching / community
