I agree that BGnight should respect forum members more and actually take some time to write sensible takes about his political preferences. I have a hunch i can agree with him on a decent amount of stuff, disagree on other stuff, and that he could be contributing as a normal rightwing american, but as long as he intends to troll and/or treat this place like a normal dumpster fire low quality social media he is just ruining the commons for us.
This place is actually much more interesting than a lot of social media because we have 0 bots, almost 0 pure trolls, and people are living human beings with nuanced preferences and takes, and that includes extremists like me or jalfrezi.

My "extremism" wasn't "extremist" in the 1970s and 1980s when people were on the whole much happier and had more time for themselves, their families and their friends.
Your extremism was only not extremist in parts of Europe in the 1930s and parts of the US under Jim Crow etc that people were subsequently ashamed to admit to.
