I'm all for the military taking on the criminals and the cartels. Ever since I was a kid I wondered why this was not happening. Police departments are constantly undermanned and underfunded. It's time too level the playing field. Also, liberals need to get out of the way. Their tacit support for criminality needs to be dealt with.

Last I checked, we've spent well over $100M to deploy those troops in LA and $1M a day in DC.
The reason this has not happened before is that it is bad idea. Soldiers are, on the average, not good at civilian law enforcement. This was a lesson learned throughout the 1800s in pretty much every western country, and was what lead to the development of the modern police force to begin with.
A long a similar vein, using soldiers to restore order requires troops trained to that purpose. Riot control isn't necessarily a part of every soldier's training. It also requires a riot to actually control, and in this case not even right-wing media seems to be able to find incidents they can video from 300 different angles and pretend there is havoc in the streets.
Thirdly, it you want to combat crime by sending soldiers, then you should presumable send them where there is the most crime. What we're seeing in this case is that those areas are actually ignored, and instead the soldiers are simply sent to a few cities controlled by the political party in opposition to the president's party. So, we can safely conclude that the point of these operation isn't to combat crime, it is to a federally funded campaign poster.
Fourth, ignoring the legal and ethical ramification of using soldiers against your own citizenry is idiotic. Using soldiers against your own citizenry is an extreme action that should be used with extreme caution and discipline. It certainly shouldn't be done at the behest of an ailing old corrupt head of state that spends 6+ hours every day ranting about much he hates half his country. Even the people that support that idiot should consider that he won't be in office forever, and you might not like the next buffoon who sends soldiers to carry out his political whims.

Anyone can look at this objectively and see yes indeed the BLM riots in the summer of 2020 caused billions of dollars worth of damage report saying upwards of 40 people killed many many more injured. Many businesses burned to the ground numerous political institutions attacked.

Most of these things you're mentioning are not official Democratic policies nor do the majority of Democrats neccessarily support them. They are just things which Republicans dislike and try to accuse Democrats of supporting.
