Halloween is Coming
The child wears a costume of death and ventures into the darkness, knocking on doors until they open.
Who is the child looking for, going door-to-door the way he does? What is his purpose? How does the adult who opens the door respond to the boy’s demand?
The boy’s sister is dressed as a princess. She is of the light and a touchpoint for her brother so he remembers his origin and doesn’t get lost in death...
...Why do we act this way as a culture? Truly.
Don’t just blindly accept what Google or AI tells you about what Halloween is. Or what Christmas is.

Don’t go to craig1120’s this year if you want the good treats, kids
The OP isn’t a complaint about Halloween. I’m pointing out it’s a spiritual ritual that, like many rituals, we don’t fully understand as a culture.
Guess who has the lowdown on the spirituality of Halloween? Yup ... you guessed. We don't know if god told him -- he doesn't disclose much about his process -- or if it is just kind of in his DNA.
