[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread
This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is th
Well, presumably those of us posting here to complain about not being able to log in and/or terrible lag after we finally do get sort-of-logged-in are live humans who aren't contributing to traffic.
Traffic at Bovada has been quietly creeping downward for about 5 years now - I've watched all those guarantees shrink a thousand dollars at a time until they are about half what they once were - but the drop this past month has been remarkable.

thats good considering bovada is now banned in 20 states. The US government is the biggest threat to online poker.
Is it me or the structures suck now?
15 blinds went to 12 minutes.
Double the starting stack and instead of 14 or 15 levels of late rego its like 18 or 19.
Then 50 people max late rego stall forever and the average stack at the bubble is <10bb.
Absolute madness.
I'm on ignition. I was on bovada for a very long time. They banned me because they thought I was doing sketchy stuff with the sportsbook. I wasn't. I made a post about it a while back. But anyway, after that I moved to ignition and since the update I haven't had issues. HOWEVER, even when I was on bovada back when they started having all the login problems with the web client I noticed that on ignition you could still log in. So it seems like it's bovada specifically having all the problems.
I've never seen traffic this low in many years of playing. I do sngs, and the sngs have been basically dead in the primetime hours - 6pmish to 10/12ish central. Those have always been money making hours, and the last month has been bad. However, the last week it's been unplayable unless you want to battle regs nonstop. Beginning of this year was nowhere this bad, or even say May-July. If this continues, that's pretty much the end. You'll literally have just about zero fish and even if you can beat up on bad regs the regs will leave because most rely on casual players. Definitely seems correlated with the update. I'm used to having multiple tables running during the prime hours and now you'll either have nothing or 1 table. Ghost town

good chance that the site is dead because the lag has been unmanageable. hopefully it gets un****ed in the next few days. even a rollback to last week would be a huge improvement.

sit n gos are dead everywhere......
I am in NY, Ignition/Bovada is banned there. Betonline's Sitngo's are dead and reg-infested, same with ACR. Sit N Go poker is totally dead right now.
These sites need to go back to the classic 10 handed sit n goes, 8max is ridiculous now
Who here plays double ups/ triple ups, KO?
This has been my "go to" games for the last few years. Bodog seems to have the most SNG
traffic compared to ACR

I do not see any difference between the sites. Even the support people are same.
Does anyone know if it's possible to download hand histories from the Bovada web app?
HHs haven't been available for downloading for a few weeks now. CS claims it is being worked on.
(for more info or verification, read upward in the thread).
Thanks. Just to clarify though - I can't figure out if downloading HH is possible if I use the browser based client. I haven't downloaded the app - just been messing around with the browser version - and they make it as difficult as possible to even review hh.
Thank you

There used to be a button to download a specific hand or a range of hands -- the HHs available said "available for download."
That feature was lost in a recent update.
Why is Ignition asking me to log into a browser? What happened to the client?
Took a long hiatus from poker starting around the time Covid hit. Back now on Ignition, but haven't visited my local casino yet (Potowatami)
Still getting my sea legs playing 200 NL but an early and obvious observation is that the game has gotten far more aggressive at these stakes, particularly in the areas of small blind squeezes and raises of multi-player pots by the BB. Not sure whether I'm seeing bots or what, but a lot of the aggressive plays I'm seeing are easily exploitable.
Apologies if this has been commented on already. I'll scroll back and do some catching up of my reading.
Anyone else getting error when trying to logging in?
worked for me this morning, delete the folder in app data, uninstall and reinstall and login via browser was there again
it's really a pain in the ass tbh
I can get in via this way - need to do it every time I login though - wtf?
But now Ignition Hand Grabber for Poker Tracker 4 won't work anymore. PT4 just crashes.
Anyone have the same issue or any fixes for the following problems?
- Ignition/Bovada desktop client login error
- Ignition Hand Grabber crashing in PT4
Cheers.

Also can't get the hand grabber to work
hand grabber is ****ed for me as well with HEM3
Both of you guys should also jump on the Poker Tracker 4 forum Ignition thread to report this issue.
The moderators on there think it's currently solved at the moment - but it clearly isn't.
I think it has to do with the Iggy client being cooked.
This whole thing is so frustrating.

I used to play the DON's a bunch. Until two guys colluded against me. They were so blatant about it, they made no attempt to camaflouge what they were doing. That's because Ignition did not take it seriously ( I assumed incorrectly if a sent them the tournament number, and relevant hand numbers, they would take care of the issue). I have not played them since.
