Peak Rice moment of the vlog is when he states you can straddle for between $6 - $13 dollars - then *counts* out loud all the numbers between 6 and 13.

Another top moment for me is the sheer delight and instapraising of the bus system he delivers after the driver lets Rice ride for free instead of paying the $1 fee.

I don't believe his numbers but I think it is disingenuous to rip him for it on face value. $6000+ in a month is doing right.
Except he was up only $695 just days earlier, and he was down at the beginning of the month.
He could have posted his results just days earlier, but he would have looked like he was a breakeven player to someone that doesn’t understand variance. And he wouldn’t have gotten any “Wow good job winning $6k” kind of comments.
He put up poker results showing him winning $19 an hour over 500 hours, but he wasn’t doing right. He was just on possibly the biggest heater of his life.
I think Trooper Timmy is a complete imbecile and he doesn't know what he's doing. as has been widely discussed as nauseum nothing in his slots play seems to be consistent and he is not an AP player, despite his claims. but if he posts results saying he made +$6000 at slots in a month, considering how bad he has been at everything in life, it is unnecessarily piling on and dumb

True. It looks like he puts in 4 or 5 hours a day on average. Add the 14 hours a day we all know Trooper needs to sleep, and give him 2 hours a day of futzing around making coffee, that still gives him 3 hours a day. Minimum wage in Nevada is $12 an hour. 3 x 30 x 12 = $1000 extra dollars a month he could show Lady T before he blows it.

ELD was away from the permanent address for less than 24 hours and still will get two Nomadic poker rooms and gets to sleep on the plane and get comped soda from the casino drink machine and college drinking fountain.

if it's true that he made $1178 in 1.5 hours then good on him to leave before blowing it. He's doing slots, he's supposed to lose. if he can get a week's worth up in 1.5 hours and leave on top, or play all day and not lose a ton, then he's doing okay.

That would be true for a recreational gambler. But if you're a gambler that claims to be "making a living" doing it because you have an edge, you take as many swings at the ball that you can. If you claim to make, say 8%, on your coin-in*, then you want to run as much coin as you can through the machines.
*8% is just my example, I have no idea what these people claim for an roi.
+6112 over 140.25 hours for an hourly of 43.58. I don't play slots, so I don't know if these are standard swings. Everyone ITT and people I know personally say he is an AP fish, so we will see. Need bigger sample size

Same way someone loses with an edge in anything. You think card counters or pro sports bettors win every time they gamble? It doesn't work like that. The swings on AP slots can be just as extreme as poker depending on what games you are playing. If you only want to take sure bets then you will be doing a lot of walking/checking and very little actual playing.

He caught 2 buses and who knows how many miles on foot in order to get from poker room 99 to poker room 100. Some fools would have just paid $10 for the comfort and convenience of an Uber but they are not well versed in the nomadic method.

His goal apparently is to get massive coin in for comps and offers. Except you don't get **** for being a local in Vegas. But hey, he knows his edge and we all don't. That's why he keeps finding these "plays" on Phoenix Link and Buffalo Link. There's very little incentive to play high variance, low edge plays unless you are card building. The main reason is you have to be absolutely positive you actually have a small edge. Otherwise, you could be playing a slightly negative play but at a high denomination high coin in play.
