according to CoinMarketCap, there is been a little bit of CHP volume ($2k-ish) via QuickSwap and UniSwap over the past couple days... are they available as an option again to purchase CHP (rather than the 5% vig in the poker client?)

Hi, it's technically always been an option; it's just that the liquidity is very low, so only smallish orders will go through without a large wick. If you're comfortable with using QuickSwap (when you buy it, it should give you a % price impact warning), it's doable. Some players do buy it there as it's cheaper, even paying the gas fees for the swap and then the fees to send it to CoinPoker. And the fees to buy Polygon beforehand, to pay those fees with. But to avoid crypto beginners making a mistake, we shy away from officially recommending it.

What is peak time for traffic? I've looked at various times of the day and it's never all that great. I assume Euro evening/ early EST? Thinking to deposit but not sure it's even worth it. (I mostly play MTTs)

Hi peak times can kinda vary usually when the bigger events or guarantees are running would be when it’s busier since you mostly play MTTs, that’s when you’ll see the best action. Traffic’s actually picked up a lot lately, it’s pretty much doubled over the last month.

Can you do something about the lobby whilst these world championship games are running, if people dont want to play vs arguably some of the best in the world, the regular tables get hidden in amongst 20+ of each world champs table, also a way to separate PLO and PLO5 by filter?

You can filter between PLO and PLO5 under the Games section of the filters.
To hide the CGWC tables, just enable the 7-max or 4-max filters — CGWC are currently the only 6-max tables.

Getting a weird message when I launch the app: "checking for update failed, got network error in update check; restart?"

Hitting Yes or No doesn't do anything. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still got the same message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, The 500 Cash Game World Championship (CGWC) tables on CoinPoker are among the tougher games on the site. You can expect to play against a very strong player pool. Good luck if you decide to take part.

From a player’s perspective, it’s really not great that the leaderboard updates only happen once a day. You mention 12:00 UTC, but for example today there hasn’t been any update yet.
It’s a bit of a shame, because the promo itself is great, but the lack of frequent updates makes it a lot less fun.

The calculations and updates are currently performed manually each day, making it difficult to increase the update frequency at this time. I doubt it will ever happen why is there hate for 6 max tables? Also can you ever allow outlines of the players? Most sites let you color code.

Originally the reason for CoinPoker having 7max tables was that solvers are set up for 6max and we are still firmly against them and any kind of RTA even though we started allowing basic HUDs recently.

We are considering adding regular 6max tables for all players - we already did for cash game world championship promo - as many players want them, I'll try to chase that up as well.

I honestly never thought about that, it's a very good response.
