Very sad day. I will miss his streams immensely. Condolences to his family and friends.
Danya was a beautiful and brilliant guy this is heartbreaking.

Apparently in his last stream he talked about how every time he wins a game he just wants to scream because he's worried people think he's cheating now. So sad.
Yeah, there is heavy speculation that he killed himself because of the Kramnik cheating accusations affecting him so greatly
With the way mental illness gets, I suspect the truth is it was certainly aggravating factor on a brilliant, gentle, but already fragile mind. Such a horrible waste.
My favorite memory of Danya was the night Dina Belinkaya was parading around his apartment in her bathrobe desperately tryna get him to **** but he's too busy playing online bullet against Alireza. What a savage.
Yeah, and I feel like what we're seeing there is deeper than that. Chess was his refuge, and Kramnik ruined that.
Danya had a great heart and too much compassion.

I used to hang out semi-regularly in his stream late at night... always super instructive chess when Danya was doing his thing.
