Sorry for double post but also, are the 1/3 games truly as bad as I’m reading everywhere? Every day I check bravo I see 7+ games running basically at all times, I get games can be rough but hard to imagine there aren’t at least one or two games worth playing in

It’s $6+$2 now.
Quality of the games is relative to your expectations . And while they’re certainly nowhere near as good as they were in eras past, to your point especially when there’s many games running in peak hours, they’re good enough for good players to make solid win rates
The quality of the games and high hand promotions isn't the issue at Borgata - you will get plenty of 1/3 action all the time. If you REALLY want action, check out the 1/3 Bomb Pot game - every hand is a $10 bomb pot - major roller coaster lots of fun...
The issue with Borgata is the room has been shrunken down, the space is shared with loud race fans yelling at the horses on TVs right next to the poker tables, one chip runner handling your buy-ins instead of the cage (which is now split between poker and horses), limited communication between the podium and the floor managers, and limited beverage service. It is still the place with the most action in AC, but Borgata has been paying less attention and care to Poker (and Craps too) in the past 18 months.
So be mindful of all of this when you go. Good luck!
Haven't been back at borgata since 2017. Heading into town though for first week or so of fall open. Stoked to play the NL deuce event--favorite game to play and its growing every year at the WSOP.
See you there, and in the limit hold em games.
How are cash games during tournament series, will 5/10+ NLH run every day during the Fall Open? Or still just on weekends?

Idk if it will run every day but there’s a decent amount of regulars for 5/10 and 10/25, with the additional players from tournaments it’ll definitely run some weekdays just a little hard to say which days. If you wanna DM me we can connect and I can let you know if and when I hear there might be a weeknight game

Just got a fat bonus and planning to be there for the series. Will send you a DM
Does anyone have the schedule of the Winter Poker Open January 2 - 18?
I know they usually have hard copies in the poker room prior to their website actually been updated. Thx!

Have you actually seen that anywhere? My guess is it would start on the second based on the last couple of years but I haven't seen anything anywhere. Last year it was posted on Twitter in mid November but this year nothing.

Is this still the best room in AC? Been years since I was a grinder but I'm getting back into it next year.
In case anyone can opine, I'm deciding between here and the Philly poker rooms... Basically the same distance/time from NYC.

Yes, still the best room, but gone downhill a bunch from what you remember, most likely
We're about to get poker at Resorts World, hopefully when table games open, ETA late March 2026

It's not even a close decision bw this room and the Philly rooms. Best in AC sure. But that's not an accomplishment.
Anyone playing the Mystery Bounty this year? Or has anyone played one of the Mirror Mystery Bounties in the past?
I think this year is $250k guaranteed, $350 buy-in.
Going to try to play one of the flights on Saturday or Sunday.

When I lived in Staten Island, PARX was about a 30 minutes shorter ride than Borgata (about 60 vs 90 minutes). So if you're commuting, there's that. If you need a room and get offers, Borgata and Harrah*s can have reasonable rates at times. PARX has a better game selection. I don't know about the time travel to the other Philly area rooms.

Other Philly rooms don't have bigger games.
Booked a room at Borgata for March Madness 2026, I've played at Borgata exactly once since I left NYC in 2018, despite a) Atlantic City being LOL and b) reading the games have gone massively downhill, I'm still excited. Ready to have expectations dashed.
Heading down Sunday to play The Opener/Almighty event.
The Deepstack $600 looks like great value with 2 Milly GTD as well.
Like how they made the last flight a turbo and day 2 starting at noon.
I got banned for slapping a midget chinese guy from nyc at the 20 40 game. Called the floor because i took my seat that was given away hours before

The security management that works at the borgata are what you would expect from people in atlantic city, low intelligence third world thugs.
You shouldn't be using violence at the casino and thats not a justification in that situation. But Atlantic City especially the Borgata are run by unsavory people, thats AC for you.
I'm going down for at least a week... Is the 2/2 plo game running daily? Thank you
Awesome
