Never Give Up, The Tilt Pro a Profit Pro by ronaldogto

Hello guys, I am an NL2 player on GGPoker, my nickname is ronaldogto.

For over a year, it was impossible—truly IMPOSSIBLE—for me to be profitable. I lost more than $400 at NL2, yes, at NL2... I had horrible tilt problems, EV leaks, chronic frustration, anxiety, and depression. I tried everything, but I kept losing and losing, feeling completely stuck. I don't have a job, so I bet everything on poker.

To start moving forward, I began by eradicating Tilt. When I would enter tilt, I would leave the laptop and walk away. Sometimes tilt would make me lose up to $30 in a short time. After correcting the tilt, I managed to stop losing my bankroll, BUT I WAS STILL STUCK. The frustration was great; what I won, I lost.

Then, I understood that to win at poker, you also have to focus on **not losing**. I started folding against nits or regs who showed strength, even when holding strong hands that were technically 'calls' according to GTO. And what happened? I started becoming profitable!

While in session, I keep a sheet of paper next to me where I write down what I save with every fold, what I gift to nits if I make a mistake, and what I win by skill or lose by variance.

I will share my graph before correcting tilt and EV leaks, and my current graph where I am correcting the EV leaks. My current goal is to complete 100K hands at NL2 before moving up to NL5. I will keep updating!
