[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
I am not a fan of the ability to expose hole cards once you are out of the hand. They should limit that feature to those that are only in on the river.
Way to often folks that fold early are exposing a probable bluff by the winner, especially in Omaha.
Has anyone seen higher than 50 BBs on Card Strike? Never seen anything close to the "jackpot" won on a spin.
Received a 20BB and a 5BB once each. Havenβt seen anything bigger than the 20BB myself. For context, Iβm playing no more than 2 tables and usually only on 2-3 hours 4-5x/week.

Cmon, got to give recs some tiny things to have fun with.
US players should have their state listed.
So wsop reached out to me about ideas for increasing cash game traffic on the site. I am compiling a list of things that I think would improve, but it is somewhat difficult to look at making cash games better for myself, while also helping the population. My ideas so far: games are ending earlier so late night happy hour- serious incentives for table starters or short handed
Hello fellow degens! I finally created an account just to talk about this topic!
no more lurking for me.
Here are some ideas I like that could make the games more fun (I don't think recs really care about table starting or rakeback percentages as long as they aren't crazy, but I could be wrong)
1. add chat back in
2. create a bad beat jackpot
3. keep card strike if possible but make it hit for more value and less often
4. if someone flashes their cards at the end of the hand, give me a few seconds to flash mine after the fact
5. run it twice option
6. some kind of leaderboard top X players by the hour, or day, week or month whatever (broken down by level cuz no one can compete with misstx or bettorb
7. annual rakeback levels vs the month to month (ideally with the same percentages, I realize that may be hard)
8. keep no huds, no hand history downloads (sorry guys)
Also I like _advanced ideas:
Adding some gamification would help too Γβ a player page when you click someoneΓβs name, badges or levels for milestones like playing 1,000 hands at $1/$2, or unlocking special avatars or table themes. Makes the grind more rewarding and keeps casual players engaged.
Poker online can feel pretty isolating, especially for rec players. Some kind of chat channel, or even just better emoji options like NH, BRB, Good morning, Good afternoon, Please call, Please fold, One time, etc., would make it feel more social.
okay. I'll stop.
I've never seen a 100bb cardstrike or even a 50 by anyone at the tables. Constantly having to reset tables is annoying af. I simply hate hate the feature.
As far as chat there's no way in hell chat will ever be allowed again.
I like the emoticons as they seem like they'd tilt your opponent even more so than chat. I have them turned off though so w/e.
Run it twice is the most pressing need as well as keeping our rakeback levels on an annual basis. Having to reset every month is just wsop being cheap.
These are all pretty much pipe dreams given that WSOP has shown it has incompetent programmers working for them. We need a new site in NV more than improvements to wsop. Caesers CEO is a scumbag and doesn't care about customers at all. I wish Ultimate Poker had stuck around. They had great customer service and cared about the product even if their software was hot garbage.
I agree. Also like idea to expose cards late but there are much more pressing needs.
I also would rather see 2/4 and 3/6 instead of jump to 2/5.
I also would rather there be $25 tables instead of $20 tables.
And I don't get why they took away ability to buy in for a custom amount. Only being given 3 options was a huge step back.
CZR stock is down 44% YTD, they are tanking.
I've never seen a 100bb cardstrike but have seen plenty of 50bb strikes. In fact I got 2 of them a couple days ago in the same session at 1/2.

I'm currently lvl 1604 this month so I do put in quite a bit of volume...
I think Run it twice will eventually make its way to WSOP since GGPoker has it and GGPoker is taking over wsop. And for that reason I also think chat is not coming back even though it was one of my favorite aspects of online poker.
Also, as someone who'd probably greatly benefit from leaderboards, I actually don't think its a great idea. I used to be a pretty big leaderboard grinder on ACR when their top weekly prize was 2.5k and the games were so bad and reggy, I feel like significant leaderboard incentives will make the game quality noticeably worse.

I definitely agree that leaderboard incentives are awful for the game. Anything that caters to regs is generally bad. Make the recs want to play more and worse.
I didnt want to have to expose you, but because of your behavior I am left with NO choice. You know who you are, no need to name you. I may make questionable poker "moves" But your use of the "HAHA" emoji is not warrented. And it does not need to be used over and over, once is enough.
Also when you say "nice hand" I dont think you are using it correctly, as a friendly gesture.... because I did not win the hand.
I have taken this to customer service and after many consults, we have determined to punish you. Is this you??? Well open your account and if it was YOU, you will see your Rewards point have been stripped away today. 0, nothing, nada
I hope you have learned an important lesson today and you will now become the gentleman me and your mother hoped you would become.
Thank you
Roy
They apparently have a plo promotion that just started today. Includes a new reload bonus and 50% rb for the 1st and 2nd. Its a little unclear if the rb promotion includes 6c.

Is this a weird attempt at sarcasm/trolling or are you off your meds?
Maybe it's me, because I love to slow roll and spam people I beat with emoticons. I have animations turned off so I have no idea if the emoticons are even working when I click the button lol. Imagine someone thinking a player should be banned for using an animation feature on the software.

Nice try wsop. You're not luring me into playing 4 card aids poker.
So whats the rule on having multiple accounts? I have never been a part of a poker site that allows this, but I reported a guy in my small player pool who plays on at least 3 different accounts, and support says they think thats ok as long as they made the account in different states.
It's bullshit that this guy can keep hopping on different accounts every day knowing how all the players play, and I doubt many people have picked up that it's the same person over and over.
pretty sure u have to make a new account for each state u play
Yeah, I think it's a regulation requirement or at least a byproduct of the regulations. You have to start a different account in different states.

Yeah I have a feeling I know who this is about, he must be playing on a familyβs member account or something, but itβs pretty messed up they can just multi account and the player pool has to figure out who these new accounts are.

I think they do the 2/5 jump because they want to emulate live poker, might get a few more rec players to hop in thinking itβs like the live games they normally play, I could be wrong but seems reasonable.

Can you say who it is so everybody can know and be on level field?
Has anyone else been getting disconnected everyday on WSOP.com? I went months without getting disconnected. Now, literally every single day I'm kicked off. Multiple times a day. Won a satty into a tournament, was immediately booted while in another tourney, couldn't log in for hours until both tourneys were done, and they replied saying this:
The relevant department has replied stating the following in regards to your compensation request "This was not caused by anything on our end. After review we can see the player has consistent fails over weeks for boundary or teleporters. We're not responsible for disconnections due to these reasons. We suggest that he contacts his wifi provider as it may be a router issue for him. Otherwise, we can only suggest the following;
They have the worst customer service in poker. They told me to call Cox cable and tell them "my internet is jumping", to see if it fixes it. Honestly felt like I was talking to a teenager
Anyone else have this problem?
