NCAA Football 2025
Not sure who will win this year, hopefully Arch goes nuts and UT can kick the door in after making the quarterfinals the
Georgia State’s kicker is now 8 of 13, including extra point attempts.
For possibly the first time ever, I think I may have changed an old school "football guy" 's mind last night
I asked him the following series of questions:
Your have the ball at midfield, 1st and 10. Your QB throws a bomb into double coverage at the 10 yard line, and there is a 71% chance it will be picked off a 29% chance it will be caught. You don't even score a TD, you still have to punch it in from the 10, which isn't guaranteed. Did your QB make a good play?
[No, obviously that is a horrible play]
Since it's a horrible play if your QB does it, I assume if the opposing QB offers to make this play, you would gladly accept?
[Yes of course]
So your choices are either [a] your opponent has the ball 1st and 10 at midfield or [b] 71% chance that YOU have the ball at your 10 yard line, 29% chance they have the ball at your 10 yard line, and you would choose [b] ?
[Yes of course]
This is identical to the choice of deciding whether or not to go for it on 4th and 1 from your own 9 yard line.
He really, really noodled on it and was skeptical at first ("it just feels different") but I think eventually got there.
I think that a path to faster adoption of correct 4th and 1 playcalling is "it's a play where you can force a turnover 70% of the time." Football guys love forcing turnovers.
another absolute classic DAVID VERSUS DAVID cal game
WHO WANTS IT LESS BABY
what the ****
replay official "that's shoulder to shoulder"
Am I taking crazy pills? Their heads hit.
Even listening to the audio among the booth, I have no idea why that isn’t targeting. Sure looked to me like he went for the head with the head.
“Not close” as wide by less than a foot.
Cal's 9th touchdown drop of the game lol
WTF?!?
again, with the head to head, der "shoulder to shoulder"
The second one at least had a βhe kind of missedβ element do it even if it was obviously late. First one should be youβre fired, ye who couldnβt notice the defender literally bent his head in to make contact to the other guyβs head ffs!
Eagerly awaiting cheek-to-cheek ...
Well IU's pass rush decided to show up early lol
every week it’s like “okay but let’s see if Indiana is ACTUALLY for real” and then they beat the **** out of somebody by 50 points
this team is so impressive

The real story is that IU has lost Fisher and Kamara to what seem to be decently serious injuries.
If those two miss time, given how important and dominate this defense is, that's basically the season.

Update: Kamara is back, so he's fine. Fisher was a knee, but reports are he may just be precautionary due to the nature of the ass-beating, which would be cool.
honestly one of the best plays I've ever seen by the ref in the Wake / SMU game
Wake guy picks off the ball, and plops on the ground and like 99.9999999999999% of the time would be down, but somehow his knee, elbow and butt all miss the ground by like 1 millimeter and he kind of sits on the wr for a tenth of a second to avoid touching the ground, the ref doesn't just instinctively blow the play dead but instead holds off on the call and he gets up and runs.
On insta slo mo replay you see that the back of his calf was down by like 1 millimeter, but like the discipline to not just instantly blow that dead was incredible
lol, wake / smu 4 turnovers within 35 seconds
Wake muffs a punt, SMU recovers
next play SMU throws a pick
next play Wake throws a pick
Next play SMU completes a pass, and wr gets stripped and Wake recovers
man UVA is AWFUL
Rutgers / Purdue is exactly the shitshow you think it is too
unc loses by an inch for the second week in a row
Nebraska somehow 6-2. Could easily be 7-1 but will also likely finish about 7-5.
Record 23-24. Superlocks: 3-5Here's the LOCKS of the week:LSU ml (+114)Miss St +7.5 (-135)Pitt -6.5 (-112)Wash St -1.5 (-108)Minn +10.5 (-135)Vandy -2.5 (-115)$20 to win $883.91
how are you so good at this until becoming demonstrative

are Cal fans fever dream expecting J-KS to stay next season or is it acknowledged he will likely portal?
