Have you ever watched Al Gores inconvenient Truth ? It’s almost 30 years old and scientists made many claims that never came true . Climate science is a best guess and look at the bright side if the northern passage melts more we can pipeline oil there
This obsession with inconvenient truth is so weird. Like it did a fairly good job of laying out the science at the time - not perfect as scientists at the time pointed out but pretty good. We should have listened. We didn't. Now 25 years later, ok we've updated the science (as one would expect) but directionally the science is more or less the same message. This isn't something that wins you points. OF COURSE the science would evolve over 25 years. However, that evolution has confirmed - not denied - the core message of inconvenient truth which is that we should take action to mitigate the worst effects of anthropogenic climate change. Obviously the IPCC5 report is more accurate than the IPCC1 report - time has gone on, so why you are obsessing about this is beyond me.
