Is there any difference between UK and US players?
I'm a UK player, enjoying local pub leagues mostly.
I've heard one or two people say that UK players are tougher than US players.
Anyone have any thoughts to back this up?

If weβre talking specifically about UK vs US players in the types of games you play, the only difference is UK players play in pub leagues , US players play in bar leagues lol
Honestly I doubt it but I'm unsure.
The more I play and read the more folks
just seem like the regular old fish the books describe, but I've heard rumour
that our casinos attract more serious players as we have less of a culture around casinos.
There are almost certainly more bad poker players in the US than in the UK. There likewise are almost certainly more good players in the US than in the UK. That is simply because there are more people in the US and hence more poker players.
Statistically, it’s more likely that you’d see a larger deviation from the mean worldwide level of play in the UK than in the US due to the smaller sample of players, but that would apply in either direction, better or worse than average.
