MP calls the open first, then just calls again against your 3bet.
This leaves them with hands like AJ, AT, KQ, KJ, QJ, JT, 55, ...

He's 60/0 over 15 hands and we've seen him call 2x this hand, we can assume he's at least a bit too passive.

There's not a lot of bluffs possible, T9, that's about it.
Is a passive player like this really turning T9 into a pot sized bluff on the turn?
Probably almost never.

Are they ever shoving like this with something worse? Probably not.
Maybe sometimes with KQ?

Think we can easily fold the turn here.

Don't post results when you're posting hand histories. It WILL change how ppl think about the hand.

You can't fold vs big fish. They ll show up with KQ random QT, not the nice spot, you can even stack off otf.

vs that stat line you just gotta let it go man. 60 VPIP and never raising pre means when they finally get aggressive post, it’s two pair+ almost always. AQ looks strong, but these guys just don’t bluff. nice pre and flop line otherwise tho

Vs a fish, just bet more on the flop. If they raise, fold. KISS.

That was exactly my thought! I have seen and profited from that, but feel it has not benefitted my game in the long run. The "they overvalue" argument leads me to call to often I think.

been there lol. every time I 3b AQ, flop top pair, and some 60 VPIP dude raises tiny, I convince myself he’s got worse queens or a random bluff. nope, it’s always QJ or 55. hurts every time.

Is this appropriate? Chances another poker player showered within the last 24hrs are slim to zero let alone the dental hygiene

perfectly fine played. Fish is raising to aggressivly vs small cbets and you can see very spewy hands in there. More they already invested in the pot more they usually fight for the pot (sunk cost fallacy) especially when they see weakness and a small cb is percieved weak for the fish.
So small flop like 25-33% and call of aggression everything else would be a punt.

61.54% chance that this specific player actually did shower today

Think as played this is fine vs fish.

Please leave out results

Vs a passive fish you should be value betting at a higher frequency and had V just called then this is in your range to get 3 streets of value but when they show aggression it’s time to slow down I would call the flop and then fold to a turn bet, you beat KQ and that’s it, sd’s flat given V stats and the fact they called pre the initial raise and then the 3bet I’d wager my entire bankroll this was 55/QJ had the board not been a rainbow you could factor in a few more hands you’re ahead of but again that would be thin. Fold turn and look to iso V in the future by 3 betting wider then value own him in the spots where villain doesn’t show aggression.
