I don’t know why I’m having such a hard time finding connections to the Goonies. It’s a couple years ahead of me, but not by a lot. Still can’t find much tho.

I think Nich is pretty squarely in Gen X, and The Goonies is like one of the defining pictures of that generation.
But I was two when it came out. If my brother was playing in my stead I’m sure he’d have this nailed.

Is this why? Seems like a big leap. The clue isn’t movie, it’s Goonies. So, words having to do with Goonies or specifically referring to another movie title are direct connections.
I’m fine with spy. Both spy movies and Goonies involve mystery/intrigue, and there are plenty of famous movies with the word spy in the title.
Plane can connect to a movie title (snakes on a plane, airplane, etc.,), but that’s thinner than spy imo.
I'm specifically referring to the fact that movies traditionally are shown ON planes, these days on a screen right in front of your seat, but traditionally they'd have a whole projector set up.
If plane isn't ours I will be shocked.
I bet it's Goonies and not Indiana Jones because the latter is harder to clue with one word. Raiders? We'd think sports. Ark? We'd think boats and Atlantis.
