In the new OT rules, you obv want the ball right?
3rd possession being sudden death assuming the first two are equal means you'd rather take the ball than kick I would think since the goal is always to score a TD regardless.

The downside of taking the ball first in the regular season is if you run out of time like GB almost did earlier in the season.
It still feels better to go second and know what you need.
Third possession with time is less likely in the regular season.
Yeah, curious on this. I think it's clear you take the ball to get the 3rd possession. Knowing what your opponent did isn't worth as much as that I'd think.
I would have kicked and then blitzed Jones on every passing situation. If they don't score you can just play for a FG. If they score a TD you know what you need to do. If they score a FG you have choices.
