I'm really sorry that a global pandemic happened that killed millions of people and some of us tried to keep each other safe with social distancing. But that doesn't mean you have to become a rabid antivaxxer.

Right. "Declining for many years" because nobody was worried about measels. Then you allow millions of people from countries that have never had elimination status and look what happens, but to blame it entirely on small town hudderites is just silly.
Outbreaks happen, for example the UK lost eliminated status in 2019.
