Actually, I’m starting to backtrack on this. Now I think he couldn’t be more gone. Ole miss made an announcement of an announcement that after the egg bowl they will say what is happening with Lane. If you were ole miss and lane kiffin was staying and signing an extension Ole Miss would have announced that already. There would be absolutely no point in waiting and causing this huge distraction before the egg bowl if he was actually staying.
Agree that the Ole Miss announcement must mean he's gone. Seems they are trying to mitigate against "let down" by announcing now, but that seems very capable of backfiring as the uncertainty could be worse. It would be so classic to blow this Egg Bowl. BTW, this leaves him as a lame duck coaching in the playoff??

That makes me sad. I've got no allegiance to UNT other than living in the DFW Metroplex for 25 years. They were always a door mat for the most part.
I loved going to go see UNT. They have built a new stadium since I last went to see UNT. They also had their 1st sell out this year when a lot of people wanted to go see UNT. If you get the chance and your in the area, I would highly recommend you go see UNT.
