Preflop 99
Ok this is not played live but maybe close enough(fishy/loose callers, aggro opens/3bettors, nonstandard stacksizes/open sizings, 9 handed)
Maybe this is better place than online forums for such hand.
Ok game is 9 handed roughly equivalent of about 100NL(0.5/1$) in asian app with squid game(you lose 22bb{it was 33bb penalty before now it's reduced to 22bb} or more every 11 hands if you don't win a single hand).
The pool in general are very fishy and aggro at the same time.
Effective 1000bb vs sb
Hero has 1 squid
SB has 1 squid
BB has 0 squid
There are 3 squids left in game.
Hero in utg limps w/99 (yes this is bad but I was getting 3betted light earlier)
CO limps
SB total unknown opens to 8bb(very small in this game) with 1000bb effective
BB jams for 111.8bb
We labelled bb as aggrofish, he limp/calls 95s then on 9jj he raises ip then call off shove for 100bb, on 458r flop in a limp 3way pot, he raises vs pot bet w/Q8. We have 0 clue of his 3bet jamming range but we should be ahead since he has 0 squid?
Hero ????
If we coldcall we face getting jammed on by sb. If we min4bet to 200bb or something, it's a bit risky??? I have no clue how sb plays.
Folding is best option?

Raise first in.
Fold now.
Did the SB just show up? Because otherwise, from what you've previously written about this game, that small open is trappy AF.
Squid-desperate BB probably is shoving wide as can be. When do they have to pay the penalty? Is it the very next hand in BB's case? It's obviously going to dictate what they're shoving with. With an all Ace, all PP range (like 21% of hands, with AA/KK removed because they'd 3! something more reasonably sized), H is like a 60-64/36-40 favorite. In a donkament, you'd call this kind of thing all day, provided you knew SB would get out of the way.
No, I showed up midway, I haven't seen him play any notable hands the time(30mins) I was there.

Depends on players. Some players open small with whole opening range. Most players open small especially oop with speculative hands(pp/scs/Ax).
When do they have to pay the penalty?
They pay the penalty, 3 hands later.
Your limp isn’t that bad. I saw Jungleman limp in with 99 utg in HCL. He cold called a 3b in that hand but it wasn’t 100+ bb. Think we need to fold.
Sorry about the delay.
3 hands later means they must win or pay the penalty on this hand or either of the next two? Or the next three?
Anyway, assuming the next three, then by my math, on this hand, if V has a top 20% hand, they're 50/50 to have a hand as good in any of the next three hands (80%-->64%-->51.2%). So, might as well make a move now.
How does 99 do against a top 20% hand pre? It depends on how we define "top 20%," ofc, but I get 66+, A4s+, K8s+, Q-T9s, A9o+, K-JTo. I'd personally add PPs and dump things like JTo, in an all-in heads up situation, but this should be good for a start. H is a 55/45% fave then. H gets to 50/50 when the N% for V rises to about 12.7% (77+,A8s+,K-JTs,ATo+,KJo+)
How does that look for your impression of their range?
Tbh, if we don't think that SB is sandbagging---this is just their open size---then it feels like donkament/let's take a 55/45 with some overlay versus BB's likely Axs "Just gonna send it!," range.
I'd take that action, but if I minded variance, I wouldn't be in this wild game to begin with.

3 hands later mean if bb doesn't win a hand within 3 hands, he's going to pay the penalty.
So in game I was likely ahead of bb's jamming range.
But sb is still in game with deeper stacks which forces me in a tougher decision.
Anyhow as played, I folded in game. Felt a little crazy to min click it.
Sb called and had 88. Bb had 66.
I have no clue how sb would've responded even if I had minclicked it knowing the results. He might fold sometimes or call sometimes? Then might spazz on some random flops if he just called?
