Strip Poker During F1

F1 is coming up next weekend. I heard poker on The Strip was dead during F1 last year. Is that true?

Will it be extremely difficult to get to the Aria or Bellagio during the day? Or to get out of The Strip in the evening?

Do you still have to pay $100 event parking if you’re MGM pearl or gold?

Also do any of the bigger NL or PLO games spread anywhere off The Strip (e.g. Southpoint, The Orleans) during F1?

During the day you should be able to walk on the overhead bridges, unless practice or qualifying is going on. Verify for yourself because I haven't actually been there during the race.

Probably not those places but maybe Red Rock.

If it helps, here's the schedule:

We plan to walk from up north down to Elara Friday afternoon. I hope if we get there before ~4:00 we'll be fine. Will head to Aria for PLO that evening -- I hope we are not the only ones!

We might actually try the monorail for once.

Nah, the strip is not dead during F1, it might look that way because there's less broke people that just walk around not gambling.

FWIW, Wynn poker room was packed yesterday evening.
