5-10-20 - 5 Card PLO - Did I get bluffed?
5-10-20 semi - private game in casino - $8k effective
6 handed game has been going about 9 hours into early evening
Hero has As Ah Qd 3d 10h
Kid straddles $20, Pro raises to $75 (which has been pretty standard most hands ), Hero pots (most likely viewed as AA or strong mid-high run downs
Pot: ~800ish
Flop: Ac 4d 8d
x/x/Hero $475/Kid calls/Pro calls
Pot: $~2300ish
Turn: 5h (board is Ac 4d 8d 5h)
Kid checks, Pro bets $2k, I tank for a 30 seconds or so and call, Kid calls
River: Jh (board is Ac 4d 8d 5h Jh)
Kid checks, Pro bets $2300, I tank for a few minutes and fold. Almost flipped a coin to decide call or not. Kid folds. Do not see Pro cards, will never know.
Details: Pro runs the game, is very tight aggressive and usually has the nuts + redraws in any large pots. Kid just won $60k in tourney earlier that day and is down $5k.
I am new to this game as it just started running month ago. Game was tame but now action players has driven consistent pots $2-3k, which handful over $10k in last hour or so.
I called a $1k river bet (triple barrel bluff) with straight and was good against missed flush draw and some other higher straight/full house outs (my straight was not the nuts on turn)
Also showed a run low down wrap/flush draw in a $8k pot all in on turn, so can definitely end up with straights/wraps, redraws in these larger pots. Also have 3-bet decent amount of time since I had position on action player (maybe 1 every 10 hand or so, so not playing crazy tight)
I am viewed as weak/tight most likely and new to this game, but not crazy or anything. I don't seem like I am uncomfortable with large pots to them IMO, but again maybe viewed as tight.
Thoughts:
He can have naked K d and barrel knowing i have AA a lot of the time and rep straight
He can have wraps with diamonds and have nuts
He can have both of the above hand combined
Pro played a $12k pot with Q7735 after; called $75 pre
Would never fold to a 3-b, so his range may not be capped?
River bet seemed so value heavy but also i had a feeling he likes to do that with bluffs but never seen him do that in large pots
He bets into 2 others, Kid can definitely had the straight once checked, so he has to be ready to GII with his hand right?
He probably puts me on AA
Did I get bluffed?

I'd give him credit for it. Imo yes he could bluff but instead of going down that road of super competitiveness I rather with the money in the pot as far as the turn bet for $2k fold and I really do feel as if when you play this way the game plays or the flow of the game(all things considered) plays more gentlemanly. Not exactly saying that "gentlemanly," doesn't play as competitively but that the game just imo plays "truer," if you know what I mean.

wtf
Pro can't have AA and it is hard to put him on 88 or 44. So, what is calling the flop with after the kid calls? As you said, he could have the nut flush draw plus str8 draw. He raised pre and call your 3 bet, so A8765, A7654, etc.? He could have AKK with the nut flush draw and is semi-bluffing. Other holdings could be 87654, 98765, 76543, type of run downs with a small flush draw. The kid is calling, so he has to know he is semi-bluffing 2 players, not just you, if he does not have the str8. Unless I have seen proof of him doing this before, I have to give him credit for the straight and sigh fold the river as well.
Its a 3 way pot headed to a river. At that stack depth I think I'm correct that a leveling not war but battle is going on. I rather fold turn and pick a better spot. Might be to next level of a hand for my experience to comment on but I'm on the verge of playing at a level that is close to that in my opinion.
Maybe the question IS over my head and I'm wrong but just in my experience I wouldn't personally open up my conscious to thinking in such a way so that the game if you DO do that allows for the possibility of you losing CONTROL. I like to play a controlled style of play. Fundamentally very sound and basic.
** Ad on flop, not A of clubs (board is Ad 4d 8c on flop) ** - Kd would be nut draw, I had Qd draw in my hand) - Sorry for that mistake

Wtf
Bruh, it's 5 card plo you start calling those hands.. what are you crazy
I don't think he's potting turn 3 way then betting 1/3 pot 3 way on river with a bluff.
If you have a close decision, I would prefer call with a blocker str8 and fold without.
If kid had a str8, you would know. I am not sure we can take him into account on the river decision
For that price its probably closer to a 75/25 or pure call than a 50/50.
Is pro really as tight as you think? Because he can fold a lot of 76xxx or 765xxx hands vs your 3!
Would he lead any 23xxx?
Pro could certainly exploit you here, and turn some 2p/sets with redraw into a bluff, especially if he didn't read you flop bet as that strong.
Not losing too much sleep over it.
No way. Horrible. He's not exploiting here. IN REALITY.
Is he a gentleman though? And why do they allow a kid in the game
If you’d bet 800 on the flop, it might’ve been easier to fold on the turn, assuming pro would still pot turn.
Possibly worth noting kid called on the flop with pro behind him, and on the turn after pro bet out and you pause called.

I don't call here. But you people could speculate. Because that's exactly what your doing speculating not giving advice in reality. But speculating. Weirdos.
