Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream
Will check out The Beast in Me.
The producers on the series include Jodie Foster and Conan O'Brien.
Not a team I'd of immediately guessed.
Monster:Ed Gein sucked. I guess if you know going in that it's not even close to the real story.
Yeah, I’ve had more than enough of Ryan Murphy’s bullshit to even consider watching anything else of his. Which sucks for Gein. I’d have gladly watched anyone else’s version.
That's exactly what I thought: No more anything with Ryan Murphy's name attached, lol.
It was acceptable/good if you understood that it was an over the top dramatization. If you were hoping for a fact riddled documentary, then yeah, it sucked.
Amazon Prime Black Friday sale is on for streaming service add-ons. Most are around $2/month for 2 months.

The thing is with me is that this story tells itself. A ****ing psycho hand-delivered a perfect movie script to you, and you decide to turn it into an art film. I guess if that's his thing, good for him, but it doesn't work, and it's awful.
The dude playing Ed Gein was horrible. The wife and I watched the whole thing, but neither of us liked it.
I never finished it because it sucked but "The dude playing Ed Gein" was Charlie Hunnam AKA Jax Teller on Sons of Anarchy.
I didn't finish the Ed Gein thing either. The ham radio bullshit was just too much. You want to film a fiction story, do it with fictional characters. Or rename them Norman Bates or something.
In other news, I'm finally watching Stranger Things with the series finale coming up soon. Maybe 5 episodes in. I like it, but it's nothing that makes me want to stay up all night hitting "Next Episode", at least not yet.
I finished the squid game the challenge. I thought it was well produced. The sets were perfect reproductions. A fun watch, a perfect background show.
I’m excited to watch it. I really enjoyed the first season. They do a great job of emulating the real show while making it a reality game show where no one is actually murdered.
You'll like it. It's as good or better than the first.
Fukk house of dynamite and everyone involved in wasting two hours of my time flinging poo at my tv.
btw, it might have been my imagination but I thought there were some pretty strong racial undertones throughout the game.
i.e. whites aligning with whites, blacks with blacks, etc...
I wonder how much the producers intervened behind the scenes to stop it?
I also wonder about this on the TV show Survivor.
It's the #3 most popular show behind Pluribus and A Beast In Me!
lol viewers
Beast in Me seems a bit derivative.
Nonetheless I'm enjoying it because Claire Danes is so good at the acting thing.
Stranger Things
Just finished the first 4 episodes of Chapter 5.
First episode was a little weak/slow, but it starts to pick up afterwards. Ep4 was stellar. Especially the last 10-15 minutes.
Hard Knocks: In Season NFC East starts tonight on max.
The studio isnt perfect but it has some moments that are amazing.

Why was his voice so high pitched in the series? I've heard recordings with Gein and he didn't sound anything like that.
Seems appropriate for this forum
I just finished The Asset. Meh. I would call it a slightly below average police drama. In hindsight I would have probably skipped it. Especially with it not being an english language show.
I'm almost finished with The Beast in me. A much better mystery/thriller.
