I love South American football, we could learn from them. Binning off handshakes before a game or players all walking out holding mascot's hands. Players should emerge in an unstructured fashion from the tunnel, some jogging gently, some doing some jumping headers, and then do a new warm-up routine that they learned when they got thumped by some Eastern European side that they've never heard of before in a midweek game. Also, steak and chips for lunch before a 3 pm kick off.

Someone is going to have to explain to me why, in an era where refs should in theory be adding on time correctly, someone scoring while losing heavily would still grab the ball ASAP and take it back to the centre circle rather than celebrate. I assume force of habit and/or general idiocy amongst players

It definitely used to just be counted as a missed pen no second chances in the prem. Mitrovic a couple of seasons ago double kicked one that went in, they chalked it and that was that.
