nice video lol

I'd post a video too, but I'm too drunk. morning is the BEST time to get drunk. so stupid there is a taboo against it.

anyway i'll just type a quick TR of the video:

arundhati Roy... commenting on the presidenttial pardon of a turkey. happens very genocide day. it's on TV. president pardons a turkey and the turkey lives happily every after in some turkey paradise(maybe sponsored by Disney)... and then millions of turkeys are slaughtered and devoured by the empire

and it's the same for Michael Jordan, or whatever commoner is born into the servant class, but through luck or whatever, gets to live a life of priviledge, while the rest of us toil in misery and explotation.

Michael Jordan's daughter told a story about being out on a jetski with him and for some reason he had $30k cash on him. They wiped out and both the daughter and the cash were going down and Jordan went for the cash.

cash can't swim. daughters can.

wait, doesn't everyone carry 30k in cash while jet skiing?

and what's he doing wasting time with his daughter anyway?

My turkey had no neck!!!

Good news is I didn't need to pay for a worthless neck.

Hope all y'all had a great Thanksgiving, I celebrated extra hard to cover for filthy and our non-American friends. Now to do something about these leftovers.

I had pumpkin pie and banana pudding for breakfast.

I had pumpkin pie and banana pudding for breakfast.

Not bad, not bad.

I had a stuffing waffle and an over easy egg. Ramping up slowly.

the most fun I ever had protesting was on a black Friday in the mid 90s. I was in my 20s. me and my buddy took the subway to downtown SF where people used to Xmas shop. and there were probably around a thousand of us, just roaming around in small groups, discouraging people who were trying to shop. but the vibe was so friendly, and playful, and everyone was happy. the shoppers were happy. the protestors were happy. I had a sign on my head that said "do you really need that?" and people laughed. and I was good looking. women were flirting with me.

no such thing as Homeland security. barely anyone knew who donald rumsfeld or dick Cheney was. no such thing as the internet or social media.

American working class was still benefiting from the threat of communism from the Soviet union. our capitalist overlords hadn't yet fully utilized their monopoly power of us.

cops didn't bother us. racists didn't bother us.

people were open to our gentle message of anti materialism, and appreciation of things that were more important than whatever gadget or fashions corporations were trying peddle in the 90s... things like community, and nature, humor, or whatever

probably looking at it through rose colored glasses. but it was def a really fun day, and good memory

anyway, happy "buy nothing day" everyone <3

lol forgot this is mark's high holy day

20% off gift card is great though! too bad I don't have the mental health to enjoy outback

20% off sitewide for Petco if you need some dog food. Or a dog. You should get a dog filthy. Get a dog and unplug from all news/internet until it's one year old.
Maybe that's what I will do, sounds like heaven.

I want a dog! but I can't right now, or maybe ever again. I can't handle the responsibility.

I need to find a place to live, and I'm def keeping a dog in mind while I look.

Come to Texas for a poker vacation.

Landman and Lioness were both filming near my house. Maybe you could get some real work, haha.

acting is my fallback career

The withdraw symptoms would be severe.

20 years ago, when my wife and I would go to Hawaii, we would bring no technology. And we would watch no TV.

These days, I pack power strips, USB chargers and a zillion USB cords.

I will occasionally try to watch TV without a laptop or phone in reach. It is very uncomfortable.

I'm never ready to shop on Black Friday and since I hate crowds anyway I put it off. Probably going to be too much Amazon for about the tenth year in a row.

I did go to Ace Hardware to take advantage of their 50% off any item up to $30 BF deal, needed a new snow shovel.

wow those sound like great trips! I mean the ones with no TV or tech.

tell the story of how those trips came about? I mean like was it your idea or your wife's? did one of you have to talk the other into it? did you like it? reluctantly agree to it?

also kinda lol how one day you both were like "**** this! let's watch some ****ing TV!!!!"

omg! I just went back and reread your post, and totally misunderstood "the withdrawal symptoms will be severe"... bro, I thought you meant the withdraw symptoms AFTER you got back home and were suffering TV and tech, and missing being free of all that lmfao... but now I realize you meant withdrawing from your addiction to TV and tech lol
