AK on 884,r 4-way weak action
1/2 NL, effective stacks about 300 with main villain. No strong reads. 4 limps, hero raises to 15 in the BB AsKd, only SB folds.
Flop (55) 8c8d4c, x/UTG bets 10, fold, fold hero call. Turn (75) is 5h for 8c8d4c5h. x/UTG bets 20. What should hero do? How should hero have played different earlier.

I'm not real confident about what the best approach is in this spot, so I'm curious what other people say.
I normally just fold flop with four players in the hand. It feels kind of weak because the flop is pretty unlikely to have hit anyone, but you have reverse implied odds if you hit an ace or king and your opponent has an 8. I would probably call if I had at least a BDFD or something to go along with the AK. I especially like floating with your hand (with the As) when there are 2 spades on the flop, because you can credibly bluff and represent a flush with the blocker if a third spade hits. Without any BD draws I fold, but I can see why you called with his bet being so small on the flop.
As played I fold turn, but could see trying to steal the pot somehow. The problem is his line looks like it's most likely a small pair (which you can't beat), but with the paired board would you really be raising an overpair for value? I don't see a lot of credible bluff lines that you could take to reliably fold out a small pair. It's just not a great board for your range. I fold and move on but like I said I'm curious what others think.
Might open bigger if pool likes to see flops for 15.
Easy fold on flop
Easy fold on turn.
We are easily drawing dead, villain can have all the 8x, 44 on flop.
Villain can also have random bluffs, clubs, 4x, gutshot on flop that backed into a pair or straight, random pp 22-TT. But this is very villain dependent. You also dunno enough about villain to make random assumptions that he's betting light into 3 others.
Also, you said weak action on title, it's not really "weak". Weak is something like all check on flop.
Facing small bets on 2streets isn't definition of weak unless you have a read on villain.
Betting in a multiway pot is an indication of strength.
Barreling on turn once again is also an indication of strength.
With no reads my preflop raise from the BB is 6x+1bb/limper =20. I'm increasing the size if I get multiple callers. Higher variance, higher EV.
AP on the flop the weakest holding I would continue with is 2 over cards+BDFD+BDSD.
Everyone says make it larger when you get 3 callers, but I had raised this size in the same situation the previous round and everyone folded. When they all limp, they probably don't have much. You can open big in ep and get callers with good hands.
I wondered if I should cbet representing an overpair.
Thought villain probably had a weak pair but could maybe be trapping with trips. Occasionally, my nut no pair was good. I folded the turn. Wanted to make a play, but could be running into close to the nuts and couldn't represent much, as an overpair probably wouldn't play aggressively on that board.
I struggle with these spots too where we check and they bet tiny amounts and have us double guessing if we should make a play at it. Problem is it’s hard to rep anything on this board.
