UTG: $2.03 (102 bb)
MP: $2.94 (147 bb)
CO: $4.94 (247 bb) 43/16 after 45 hands and has donk bet 75% (3 out 4)
BU (Hero): $3.91 (196 bb)
SB: $2.01 (101 bb)
BB: $2.07 (104 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BTN with J A
2 players fold, CO raises to $0.06, Hero 3-bets to $0.18, 2 players fold, CO calls $0.12

Flop: ($0.39) J 5 2 (2 players)
CO bets $0.02, Hero calls $0.02

I literally suck vs donk bets and often enter super passive mode and call down as i never quite under how to proceed - i do take notes on villains as certain types will donk with their draws or middle oair type hands and adjust their sizing accordingly.

Turn: ($0.43) 9 (2 players)
CO bets $0.21, Hero calls $0.21

I called again as nothing has changed and was fully expected to face a third bet.

River: ($0.85) 2 (2 players)
CO bets $0.02, Hero calls $0.02

Obviously the 2 comes which reduces villains set combo's but i'd expect such villains to be trappy with those holdings a fair amount of time. And besides i'm never folding here for 1bb. I expect villain to have Jx , somerimes QQ+ along with various pairs 66-TT possibly.

Any advice would be appreciated

I usually just treat a 1bb donk as a check and continue betting as if they have checked. I agree most donkers will size said donk according to their hand strength so weak pair or draw of some kind would make sense.
Turn, obvious call still
River I would even raise to half pot but I'm a bit spewy so take that with a grain of salt. I would generally just put in the amount of money I feel my exact hand is worth at micro stakes and top pair top kicker feels like it wants more than just 1bb on the river.
If villain is trapping then we can just make a note for next time

On the turn if villain checks I bet ~ 2/3 pot with TPTK. So when villain donks for 1/2 pot I'm not too sad, I see it as "villain is doing my job" and I am fine just calling, letting them the possibility to do something stupid on the river. Raising is also OK but you have to call if they shove.

On the river I would just shove, your hand is very strong with this runout and they never fold a jack. If they have you beat somehow oh well, reload.

Donk bets are extremely size sensitive - I would imagine you get a lot of folds raising the flop, but your hand is an idea raise candidate - strong/dominates other hands and benefits from protection.

As played though I would call turn and then reraise the river to a large size.

Don't respect those gaybets, raise with any reasonable backdoor equity, like A4/A3/AQ+. AJs TPTK + nut BDFD + BD straight draw is a monster here. Raise flop and keep betting strong for all three streets, unless he does some funky **** like gaybet/call, then gaybet again and again.
