This coach is checking all the boxes of horrible interim. Not going for it on 4th and 1. Check. Suspending players for a quarter just to send a "message" while actually hurting your team's chances of winning. Check. Run run pass punt. Check.

Giants is a pretty good offseason HC opening.

Decent QB, vg WR to return, maybe an RB. Good pass rush and probably a top 5 pick.

the cap doesn't look awesome tbh and they've got some questionably expensive contracts. which makes the decision to hold onto their GM a little weird.

but still...potentially good offensive and defensive cores and a potential franchise QB

In theory this should be the most attractive job in the last quarter century if we’re being honest

1. Franchise qb (probably)
2. Elite pieces on offense at your skill positions
3. Elite pieces on defense
4. Top 3 pick
5. Last place schedule means a good look at the playoffs if you’re not a total buffoon

On the Manningcast they showed that frequently shown clip of the Manning family in the box celebrating Peyton's first SB win. Cooper grabs a kid under the armpits and lifts him up. I was wondering if anyone knows whether that is Arch. Just curious.

seriously, the state of reffing in this league is so bad that it is ruining the game. Every scoring play is supposed to be reviewed, right? They show the replay of the Williams TD play and it's obvious his knee hits OOB before his 2nd foot comes down. Then, on the ensuing KO and fumble, the tackler uses a blatant helmet to helmet hit to make the play.

When is the league finally going to hire full-time refs? This is ridiculous. They've got the best sports product on the planet and they do this crap.

I love how Aikman thinks going for 2 is wrong there but also thinks 16 is a "2 possession game". Absolute pretzel logic.

of course, when your kicker tries to dig through the turf on a FG attempt, I guess it doesn't matter
