The bears are conclusively a better team with Ben Johnson but if you think theyβre better than a dark dark darkhorse Super Bowl contender I canβt help you
They are definitely a long shot and a dark horse to win SB. They are also better than half the teams you listed in front of them.

The Bears have won so many gamesβ¦.not because theyβre very good but because theyβre an average/ever so slightly above average team who have
- played a very soft schedule (3rd easiest),
- have had incredible Turnover differential at +17 when next highest in the NFL is +9
- gone 7-1 in 1 score games

Double bonus, sorry heels?
TB should be the division favorite, but if we beat them twice and win 1 of NO or Sea, then we are in no matter what.
We better ****ing beat NO out of the bye. Still annoyed we lost the first matchup.

Defensive stats suck but getting better week by week
But the only stat that counts
WINS 3rd in NFL 1st in NFC
Take your soft schedule and shove it, they are playing NFL teams just like everybody else
I'm very interested to see how the Bears finish the season. Schedule strength, advanced metrics, box score stats, etc. aside, they have upside that most other teams don't with a first year head coach who I think we all agree is very likely a good to great coach. Every week he seems to be improving something about the team significantly. It's really impressive to see where they are after 12 games this year compared to last year.
They have 3 decent teams left on their schedule. If they go 2-1 in those games it would be great
3 good teams, 4 games against them total. Obviously, they can't afford to the lose the Browns. That would be bad.
I bet they split with GB then go 1-1 against SF/Det. So 2-2. 3-1 or 4-0 would be impressive.

I think what myself and most Bears fans are excited about is how much they have improved from the beginning of the season. Lost first 2 and have gone 9-1 since and seem to be showing something new and improved each week.
New coach, drop first 2 games is pretty much a death sentance and they turned it around. Since they early bye in week 5 they seem ike a team with a lot of wim. If current form counts for anything Bears are 5-0 in last 5 while Packers are 3-2.
They could easily implode as Chicago fans (all sports) almost expect that and yeah they do have the toughest stretch of schedule coming but I am convinced the Packers are way over rated and Detroit is a shell of its former self. Losing to the lowly Browns like the Pack did would be bad but the NFL especially this year this any given Sunday. They gotta take care of GB/DET.

Uhg!
As open of a year we will ever see.
I am surprised Cowboys are only getting 3 points on Thursday. Feels like a lot of Lions disrespect even with ARSB out.
Chiefs suck and the Packers just dismantled the Lions and you have Lions higher? Lions are easily odd man out in NFC North. Just like the Bears literally ran over Philly.
Too mny of you guys lock in on your pre-season/early season takes and never waver even though teams ebb and flow.

Fair that I may be slow to adapt to mid season performance. But the schedules have been so soft for Chicago and New England. Doubting these teams are real is extremely reasonable.
I mean they did just beat 2 teams you have ranked higher in PHI and KC.
Give me Dak Attack all day against that Lions secondary.
Ya, and Chiefs and Philly were both a ~FG favorite *in* Dallas. Now Dallas is suddenly on par with the likes of Detroit, Green Bay, etc.? I don't think so. Feels like an overcorrection.
Dallas defense is one of the worst in the league.
g-bebe feeling frisky by putting the pats down in the listing of sort by winner
There’s one thing the Pats have that no one else does.
