Saving an animal clue for now if rabbit is red and hoping it would be off the board does make some sense. Like he may have wanted to clue mammals which would be a layup but had to settle for this when that didn't happen?
If it's ambulance + 2 animals, I think we either get this clue earlier or he at least goes for a 2-clue last turn. That may be way off but that's where I'm leaning.

Maybe he did 1 last time to be sure that we’d unblock fighter by going Olympus so he could do n-1 (unlimited for him) here for the win
If he did 3 clue last time then if we put Olympus over fighter it’s tougher for him since we aren’t sure how he clues 2nd on list
He could've grouped ambulance with dress quite easily with gauze or whatever, so I feel like he was hoping he had a banger 3-ball to give for the final turn, and this ain't it.
Getting a 1-clue with olympus being wrong doesn't make much sense otherwise imo.
Going 1 ensured we would go fighter or Olympus last turn to guarantee we get fighter this turn if not
Kinda like his unlimited last game on turn 2 to ensure we got ivory or whatever it was

Maybe slip was assassin or something and he wanted us to know wedding was just for 1 word.
Yeah with unlimited we wouldn’t know how many for wedding so woulda done concert or club or slip or whatever danger word

I've never seen a game played this way before, so I would think (hope) he wouldn't save a very hard combo of words til the end for no reason.
There is really no way to differentiate between cow and dog, so seems like we should be guessing both.
I feel like kitten or other young animal names get calf + lion + dog without going with weird clue like bellow; can’t guess rabbit over those 3 with kitten clue
And if ambulance was ours then he should've grouped it with dress...wouldn't have made a difference for guessing fighter and made the last turn much easier.

It was ambulance+dress. Wound or something similar would work too. It's not that hard to think of imo.
I honestly prefer calf to dog here lol.
Personally on turn one I go hare - 0 since scorpion gone and 0 clue on first turn means all the ones not like that, so calf, dog, lion
Shark is also on the board tho.
I just don't know why he would leave such a hard combo for the last turn and not even attempt to group ambulance with dress unless he was hoping it'd be easier by now.
