British Politics
Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.
You'll need another data set to show that people who came to the UK in the largest numbers recently, from Eastern Europe, fit the description of affluent and well-educated. Surely you can't be this stupid?
Have a look a the graph again, really slowly this time, and look which nationalities are under-represented, and which are over-represented.
As I said, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria are under-represented, so as your only interest is in reducing crime rates and not racism I'm sure we'll see you post enthusiastically about taking more people in from these countries?
Interesting...
Im glad the media are holding this ****'s feet in the fire.
If the police and the Electoral Commission find that Reform broke the rules, it probably still won't affect Farage's standing that much. I wish it would, but it probably won't. Even the disgruntled ex-Reform councillor who notified the police said it wasn't something that Farage would have bothered to know about, which is all too believable. (He leaves those things to the little people.) There is a personality cult around Farage, a kind of mirror image of the one around Corbyn, except that Farage's, while equally uncritical and unreasonable, is much bigger and electorally more powerful -- or so it seems at the moment, unfortunately. And it's difficult to dent that kind of thing once people have adopted a leader-figure as the sum and symbol of their hopes and the answer to their fears.
Yeah much as I dislike the target this time, it;'s hard not to see the same dirtly labour (and tory) machines in action that went after Corbyn
Maybe they should try offering a decent alternative instead of appeasing farage on policy while relying on personal scandals and mudslinging.
I can still remember the days when liberals believed that Trumps egregious behaviour would turn the median voter against him.
It's an inevitable consequence of the overuse of personal attacks combined with the lack of integrity of the mainstream politicians.
People increasingly stop taking any notice while the mainstream screams 'we're **** but were not as bad as them'
I know you don't think racism especially in politicians is very important but the exposés of his behaviour as a young man are highly relevant to his current politics.
No you dont
Oh yes I do.
Silly person
"Overuse of personal attacks"
Indeed
Must come as quite a shock to you to discover you're not on a higher plane than everyone else.
Your usual sillyness does not come as a shock
Ditto your superciliousness.
As I said, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria are under-represented, so as your only interest is in reducing crime rates and not racism I'm sure we'll see you post enthusiastically about taking more people in from these countries?
You literally posted evidence that you think supports your position, but in fact it EXACTLY supports what I have been arguing in this whole thread.
Namely, that AGE AND GENDER are the most significant factors for crime (i.e., "controlling for age and gender"), and NOT ethnicity.
Try reading stuff you post next time...
Your whole anti-immigrant argument is completely specious because the data shows that immigration doesn't increase crime rates.
Your one-dimensional hypothesis is that herp derp young males commit more crimes per capita than the general population, therefore if immigration includes more young males than the host population crime rates rise herp derp, yet this has shown to be false for various reasons such as changed behaviour and circumstances.
Stop banging the racism drum and go and find something else to rant about, Elracist.
Read the very conclusion to the source you linked to, dumb fukk.Incarceration rates are similar between immigrants and the hot population, and lower for immigrants when controlling for age and sex:
1, I've never once argued they are higher
2, I've consistently argued age and gender are the important factors.
3, Cite your other bullshit claims or GTFO.
