Also ran QQ into KK to lose the absolute minimum.

Weird game so far. Only down 100 when it should be a lot more.

And then we get stacked when our massive combo draw bricks out.

Rebuy and try again. Gotta play better with this buy in.

Nice! Sounds like a "good loss", only going down 85 with the hands you described earlier.

We hit our combo draws at Aria. Bailed at about 1:30, winning $238. Buddy was in the 1/2 PLO game with the legend of that game and won piles. Ended up walking back to Flamingo, messed around on a few slots and lost $40.

He’s playing an $1,100 PLO at Wynn at noon. I am going elsewhere. Suspect we might end the day there though.

Day 1 recap, not bad considering we landed at 5:15pm local:

Started the day winning 500 on slots.

Played Planet Hollywood today.

Nice room, cards are trash, room is pretty dead. Dogs allowed. Dog #2:

They had a $200, $5k guarantee NLH tournament that was supposed to start at noon. TWO people registered before they cancelled the tournament outright at 1pm.

They have a $250, $5k guarantee seniors event (yes I qualify) that starts at 11am that I was considering playing. Now, who knows if it even starts?

Lost 193 at PH. Was a really small daytime game.

Worked my way back through Horseshoe. Played stadium craps. Had a really good roll (me) of 16 rolls, 8 of which were 8’s. Almost every other roll was point-7out. If I’d pressed my roll a lot harder I might have broke even or a small profit. alas, a 300 loser.

Back through Flamingo, getting hungry, but this style of machine is hot for me right now. Another double pop for 100+ bets.

Put 65 of those bucks on the Chargers ML at +100. As I write this it’s 13-9 Chargers late in the third quarter. In the meantime, dinner!

Now considering options for where to play tonight. Bellagio looks it might be the play. The lists at Wynn are OUTRAGEOUS.

Bellagio has next to no wait for any game. Looks like the path forward. More to come later!

Been a bit of a pattern on this trip.

And now we got someone with T9… up like 20 bucks now.

There were eight consecutive hands where someone raised to 15 and took down the blinds. We’re out. Didn’t fly 1600 miles for that crap.
