Green Valley Ranch Grand Reopening date set
Green Valley Ranchβs newly renovated poker room reopens Dec. 18 at 11 a.m., with a special two-week high-hand promotion.
The 30 minute mystery high hand promo is gonna be ran 24/7 till Jan 1st and the prizes are between $50 and 500.
No idea on whether it's 1-2 or 1-3 and the buy in range as of yet.

that's a pretty crap high hand amount lol
Yay, 1000 $50 envelopes and 1 $500 envelope, lol. Another Vegas OMC/promo grinders poker room that encourages tight, high hand play, smh.
When will poker room managers learn to run promo raffles that reward straights and flushes? Straight and flush chasers is what makes poker games great!
Yup. My local poker room here in FL has a $200/30 min. high hand everyday and then runs special $500/30 min promos each week. They even have $800/30 min. high hands once in awhile.
$50 for a high hand is silly.
To be fair, the higher HH rooms have more tables than GVR likely will. $50 flat is what Planet Hollywood offers. Even horseshoe Vegas is "only" $100 every half hour. These rooms give away the rest of the promo money in PAT (player appreciation tournaments) twice a week.
What will be bad for the games is that GVR and the other Stations rooms will be offering a nit grinder hours promo for a freeroll. Look at the Red Rock Bravo Promotion section for the details.
I hope this doesnβt affect the South Point room. Chances are that GVR will only get small stakes games going so hopefully the 2-3 and 3-5 NL games at South Point arenβt impacted.

Morongo currently has $750 for first and $300 for second hourly high hand promotion 3 days a week.

Pala(closed since COVID) used to have a flush marathon promotion that rewarded the first and second player to get flushes in all 4 suits.
