play+grass seems like astroturf, but maybe it's ground; but a ton of stuff hit ground just as well as grass, like trunk

Calf - land animal; not super good
Drawing - nah
Dryer - nah
Eye - nah
Fever - nah
Fire - often make fires on the ground; not super good
Fuel - comes from the ground, after being refined; meh
Grass - grows on the ground, pretty good
Greenhouse - sits on the ground, but nah
Leaf - fall to the ground, but usually in the tree
Mile - measure of distance on the ground; ok but not great
Play - playground is best connection to the word ground; gotta guess this
Reindeer - known for flying, so nah
Scuba diver - nah, in the water
Trunk - the part of the tree that sits on the ground; not as good as root, but as good as grass
Unicorn - nah

so play is definite

grass, trunk, leaf are all good

tree - 2 for trunk+leaf
astroturf - 2 for play+grass

maybe chest - 2 for play chest and trunk? or nursery? not sure

not sure how to clue play+leaf; maybe jump?

I dunno, maybe grass is simplest even though first thing I thought of for play+grass was astroturf or even just soccer or football

trunk seems pretty good as does leaf

hopefully none are dangerous so won't matter a bunch

i guess reindeer is the sky word. thought it could be that or leaf, but reindeer seems to hit both clues better?

greenhouse seems good

dryer maybe. not sure if it's technically the correct use of the word, but that would be quite nitty. like disk/disc

not sure what i'd have 4th atm. probably fire? could still be leaf too i guess. does scuba diver fit? idk

grass seems out from their last clue. no idea how it wasn't guessed before trunk... would be quite the risk if grass was ours

it would seem odd to not just group leaf with greenhouse, but there were also lots of plant-y words on the board
