KTo in SB
Typical 4-8 game. Once a player puts money in pre they tend to see the flop regardless of price.
5 limps to BTN who raises leaving 3 behind. Hero looks at KTo in SB and considers all three options.
Hero???

3bet for what? Only reason to call is that weβll most likely be able to x/r the field if we get anything, but our hand sucks with this many people in. I fold.

In my game when players get short stacked they will raise very wide because it will just cost them 1 more bet and they get to see all 5 cards. Iβve done well recently isolating these with a lot of potential dead money in the pot. Just depends on how many limpers I can get to fold.
Ah, generally in the games I play limpers donβt fold to 3bets.
I would probably call but I wouldn’t fault you for folding. There is no universe where I would 3bet.
I folded. Real time logic was I was in the worst position and nobody currently in the pot would be folding once money was in.
There are some regs in this game that would fold here though. Earlier in the session there was an OMC to my right who called two bets cold pre, I 3 bet and the original raiser capped. When it came back to him he grumbled and folded.
Pretty sure if I could have gotten some folds it would probably be +EV even from SB. Had I been button it would have been a more difficult decision.
A couple sessions ago I raised two limpers OTB with KQo before the SB 3 bet all in. BB didn't see the three bet and reluctantly put out 4 more chips before dealer pointed out the 3! He was pretty disappointed and eventually put the 4 additional chips out. Partly due to his confusion by this time the two limpers had already folded. I quickly assessed the situation and capped. Now BB is really sad as he put out the call. Flop was AQx, BB checked, and before I could get the chips over the line he had folded. Created some nice dead money in that pot and won the whole thing against SB's 88. Doubt I would have capped had the two limpers come along.
Just trying to exploit everything I can against some of these recs. And it's fun to try new things.
