turning $500 into dream living in thailand (CASH GAME)
Hey guys, welcome to my journey!
My background story:
I am 24yo and I started playing poker when I was 16. I switched between sng's, mtt's and CG and I was able to easily crush micros without any external help.
As I was still in high school I had to be flexible with my hours so i decided to stick to CG only. I was beating stakes up to 16nl and always when I tried to move up I just coulnt establish myself on higher stakes.
At that point I decided to join coaching for profit group. I was in that group over 2 years but I didn't take poker too seriously and honestly... I was lazy as fu*k when it comes to studying. Somehow I managed to get staked from my Coaches and I quickly went from $300 to $3.5k. But my staking ended, I took my half and I had some personal expenses. So i was starting basically again from sratch. This cycle repeated 3times.
Then I started to have bigger expenses for living etc and I needed stable income. So I found shitty job and forgot about poker for 8months. I missed poker but i was working 12hrs shifts day/night and I was not feeling well to play but I started watching poker videos and streams. And I couldn't help myself... I just had to start playing again and I enjoyed it more than ever before. Mainly because I didnt try to play like GTO robot anymore. I used my knowledge from the past and i started using my intuition again. I realized i can do very good range analysis of my opponent and just completely crush them.
At this point I had some money saved and I decided i quit my job I didnt like and I took 1 month vacation traveling Thailand. This was the biggest motivation for me. I totaly felt in love with thailand.. from nature, food to thai people. And I knew I want to move there as soon as possible. I always knew I could make living with poker, my main issue was lack of discipline and being lazy. Thats gonna change now!!! I am gonna do what has to be done in order to succeed. Join me on my journey and let's show the world that poker dream is still alive!
Goals:
- minimum 160hrs/month (aiming for 8hrs/day - 25days/month)
- playing reg tables only! NO ZOOM!!!
- tag hands when I am unsure about play - review after session
- morning routine: Wim Hof breathing exercise, workout, cold shower
I am gonna start playing 25nl with $464. And I am gonna prove that you can beat these stakes with +10bb/100 winrate!

Grinding PS is in the past, I never felt like writing down any update but here it is.
This is the final graph of my 25NL and 50NL 6max on PS
Since then I switched to GGpoker 6max. I started getting my feet wet at 25nl.
Getting used to new pool, software and preflop rake.
It took me around 10 months to start shotting 200NL.
But (un)fortunately you will not see me at those tables anymore 🤐 
And last update regarding the title of this thread? Indeed i am living my dream in asia. Maybe Thailand, maybe not 😀 🤐

Insane how much rakeback adds to the winnings. Hope you move up fast and get out of that raketrap. Great graph, results, and volume.
