In a way, it’s quite impressive to go into the off-season with decent talent at skill positions, extend Crosby, have the skeleton in place for a darkhorse playoff team and a last place schedule and:

1. Make a ‘splash’ acquisition for a minority owner
2. Make a ‘splash’ acquisition for a qb
3. Make a ‘splash’ acquisition for a franchise rb in the draft
4. Make a ‘splash’ acquisition for a coach and OC

And end up with the #1 pick
