2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
And then tutu drop
Oh no
That’s one of the best catches I’ve ever seen
Bobble! No way they can all that a catch.
Drop!!!
Sam running like god. Just has to fade one final play.
Sam ships! Incredible.
LFG Sam! First time someone’s won $2MM to come out of retirement haha
All luck though! No skill in this game!
God damn luckbox YouTubers that don’t know anything
Unstacked Purdy (technically, since no Kittle), Burden bring back, ARSB/JSN hit the lineup but weren't seperators, hero RB, 3-6-7-2 with the late round TE enough since TE scores weren't great this week.
Mooney, Burden, and Thielen mostly not mattering at all this year in an effectively 4 WR team for most of the season. Burden basically pulls a Pearsall.
Burden, Tet, and Shough the rookies.
All 3 QBs stacked and adding points at various points of the season.
Just a perfectly cromulent build.
ETA: his team was drafted on 6/1.
Herzig auto’d and maxed the Drafters $20 when it was clear the overlay was going to be pretty big. Of course, he takes 2nd lol. He also has a team in 18th plus quite a few others in the top 1k.
I guess that’s how he’ll get over missing his first bbm final haha
No ****ing way Sam is tweeting takes right now lmao

Konata Mumpfield is a sleeper! He’s the new Jordan Whittington.
I’m really looking forward to not having to deal with waivers tomorrow lol.
That is like no margin for error with those RBs
Basically a 2.5 RB room.
Goes along with my elite QB analysis above.
It was really nice to have McBride, but you didn’t have to have him. Though, I’m guessing this team loses without his score. Probably a different runout without Brissett. I’m still not sure whether elite TE is good or not. Probably better on DK than UD with PPR + bonuses. I was like 25%+ both McBride and Bowers on DK. And around even with the field on both on UD.
Wan’Dale was one of the few guys I full faded this year. That hurt, especially with the way I was attacking WR. I didn’t think the ceiling was possible. I wonder if he stays in NY. He’s probably going to be seeking $20+ mil AAV. Same with Pierce.
4/20 dead in the finals. Sam had 2/18 dead and only 1/18 dead up the semis.
Pretty cromulent lineup where team stacking > w17 correlating.
The Mumfield tweet right after winning $2 million was so perfect.
Lost my championship game by .7 last night going against Bijan. It seemed like every play the falcons ran was designed to get him the ball. So tilting
That’s brutal. Which TE did you end up choosing?
This was the 2024 Milly winning team. I didn't track as much detail as I did this year, but a common theme for this and last years winner is they didn't have anyone who finished outside the top 100 in fantasy for the previous year.
So for the Milly next year, my plan of attack is
1. Fade everyone that finished outside the top 100 in fantasy this year. Sorry Reek, that includes you too.
2. Fade WRs and TEs with YPRR (over the last 2 years) < 1
3. Fade RBs (inside top 100 ADP) with YPC (over the last 2 years) < 4
4. Fade RBs (outside top 100 ADP) with YPC (over the last 2 years < 3.50
I'm only applying this to the Milly since I'll probably only play between 50-100 teams.
That was a different leauge. I picked Loveland and even though he had a big game, lost that finals as well bc he had cmc.
Playoffs and 1st round bye in 3/3 leagues but no championships. Still won a good bit of money but pretty frustrating end to the season
