NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: They're all system players

+500K TZ Pts

Jaylen Brown said that 60% of NBA Players go broke after retirement.

Someone should start a hedgefund and take a % of each player's salary for investing. Could call it Alley Oop Capital.

Imagine if SGA, Jalen Brunson, and Cade Cunningham all get 1 month injuries.

Kevin Durant or Scottie Barnes for MVP or something. Jimmy Butler.

Jokic and SGA are so far ahead of everyone in Win Shares that they'd still be in the lead if they both miss 6 weeks or possibly more.

When you had to face him bit different than looking at numbers and typing.

"Damn near insane in terms of speed". That is what I don't get about what others are seeing. I remember watching a Lakers v OKC game. The same as when Michael Johnson ran the 200m in the Atl. Insane. Usain Bolt. Just...cmon man.

I just don't want these kids to get it wrong. There has never been an athlete like Westie. Now, ok, his three point percentage, his modern value...fine..
Lebron. Westie. Those 2 show up at your open run...they blow your mind for a century

Too bad that highlight package shows absolutely nothing special at all.

I haven't watched this. My favorite is Uncoiling. Like a snake. Idk if that is here. Edit...see below

Brodie!!!

Some of us may forget they were up 3-1 vs the 73 win Warriors... man Brodie was so much fun.

I feel Westbrook has gone from overrated to underrated and back a million times.

The guy could play.

The first time I saw Westbrook play live it was incredible how clear it was that he was the best athlete on the court. Just way faster and bouncier than everyone else.

The only time I saw him play was summer league as a rookie. Russ was really pissed about losing on some crappy outside court with like 10 spectators

Those OKC teams were so fun.

OKC who?

How SNoop Lion ain't ask that man about trees 🙂 🙂 SMH

Eat ****, OKC 😀

Brandon Miller has been so good as of late. Also, Diabate is the best offensive rebounder in the league. Dude is a ****ing menace.

I'd like to see Trae in Minny if it can work.

Panthers in the playoffs. Hornets trending in the right direction. Are Charlotte sports back?

I want to beelieve.

Trae in Minny would be pretty interesting. Randle and Donte for Trae works in the trade machine. Randle has been playing kinda well for them, so not sure they'd want to move him. Trae and Antman could have a very fun two man game, and it would make offense so much easier for him too.

As terrible as the Lakers have looked at times, somehow there's still only 3 teams in the NBA with less losses.

I'm supposed to be impressed by AI? It tells me Dalton Knecht is likely to be the starting center for the Lakers tonight.

Charlotte-Jazz Finals one time! The FU Hayward Bowl.

Rusty was a mindblowing athlete, but the only time I ever yelled WTF IS THAT at the TV was young Rodman. Obviously Elgin Oscar Julius MJ etc but Dennis was the first imo pure bouncy fast-twitch *athlete* in the NBA nvm he also could really play. He just leapt off the screen in 1988.

I know he was an extraordinarily late bloomer physically but no doubt in my mind he could’ve been an Olympic caliber decathlete under the right circumstances. It’s kinda cool that almost nobody remembers his Pistons days; everyone involved swears he was the MVP of their second run.

My Charlotte 500:1 bet actually could have been cashed out for profit at the start of the year. Mainly because of the parity in the east. But I thought that was surprising. Let’s go ‘nets!

Zion confirmed a total bust?
