Thank you for you video. It is very helpful to me. I ended up poker 7-8 years ago and now I am back at it. We have played together back in the days at nl200-400, I think we have similar gameplay but I am a bit more talented.😀

Poker is just a hobby and a sidehustle for me, but I like it again.

I will start hopefully a blog here to share my result, views about the game and other philosophical stuffs. Moreover I plan to share things about my lifestlye, mentall issues and so on.

2025 results

there were a couple of guys that said they preferred the old school write-ups at the end of year, so i thought i'd give a little reflective ramble along with my results for the year.

it feels very weird/cathartic to be typing on 2+2 like the old days. i spend quite a lot of my time pondering the old days (actual boomer mentality eh), and how wild it is that this blog started when i was quite literally dogshit at the game, had no expectations, and had even fewer prospects for the future. if nothing else at all, i'm super proud to have stayed true to the roots that i put down by starting this blog by continuing to positively connect with the community through sharing my journey as a poker player.

as i'm sure many of you were aware, poker in 2024 was not kind to me - i had to dig very very deep mentally, and even deeper into my pockets for top ups 😃. fortunately 2025 was pretty much the opposite: i found new levels of flow-state, faced little adversity, and generally found a great rhythm. and i sincerely mean this; i still enjoy playing poker so so much. i wake up excited to fire a session almost every day, even when things are going badly. this isn't something that i think should still be happening hahaha. but long may it continue!
