fun fact: I get these odds from Bovada. A couple of months ago, they were offering bets on whether or not we had troops in Venezuela by EOY. Odds were like +150. I think Maduro's assassination was like +450. Weird they took it down...

Forget Bovada. There was a market on Polymarket on whether Maduro would be captured by the end of January. Someone apparently opened a new account with $30K and put it all on yes four or five hours before Trump announced that Maduro had been captured.

In two out of the last three elections, the majority of American voters didn't pick Trump, they chose the other general election candidate. And in the one that Trump won, the Democrats didn't have a primary battle royale to let the voters pick the best nominee because Biden withdrew so late in the process. Biden withdrew in the middle of July. The primary process was already over by then. Biden ran mostly unopposed therefore you are either dense, dumb, disingenuous or don't understand the process as to why it played out with Harris gifted the nomination that late in the process. A gift no one else had received of not to have to actively campaigned that way in multiple decades.

At least some random businessman named Jason Palmer actually ran and beat Biden in a primary (in Samoa).
