Live ~River 2nd nut, facing block bet.

Live 2/2 9 handed, no bring in timed rake.

Effective vs sb 700

Only seen sb played 1 hand for the hour we were there. He limp/3betted in co then facing a 4bet 115, he calls w/500 behind. Flop A74ss, he call 1/2 ip. Turn 8 folds to 400ish jam.

Lj opens 5 (400 eff, opening/min3betting every hand)
hj+co call
Hero w/7433 decided to call( we thought about iso 3betting but most likely bloating the pot going multiway). I treated as a limp.
Sb calls
some more callers

6way pot 30
A73
all checks
Hero bets 15
sb calls
Co calls(older guy 900eff)

3way pot 75
2
both check
Hero bets 45
Sb x/r to 155 with 500 behind(villain always has 45 here)
Hero calls

Hu pot 385
Riv 5
Sb bets 105 (400left behind)
Hero???

Fold pre.

Jam river I guess, unless you think he can have 46 and choose this sizing.

Fold pre.

Jam river I guess, if you think he will fold a chop.

Well that is the point of jamming obviously. However if you know he always has exactly 2nd nut straight you don't need to guess whether he sometimes folds it or not, you can just jam as you are not beat.

If you are sometimes beat and he never folds 2nd nuts there is no point in jamming.

You cant just assume that he 100% will not do that sizing with 64 unless you have hundreds of hours of history with him which op doesn’t. Yes sizing looks like a chop but i wouldnt be surprised if he shows up with 64 like 25-30% of the time here.

I think I default call - just sucks to jam and he has 654 or something like that

And I didn't, did I?

I also very much disagree with your statement. Even some borderline decent players have massive sizing tells. Nearly all weak players would bet it all here with 46. But if you really think someone has 46 ~25-30% of the time (lol), it's just an obvious flat.

If i was V i would put op on some kind of set or 2pair + fd and the river is an action killer, i would size down with range including 64.
But lets just say we go by your logic and V is just some noob and drool jams when he has the nuts then he also probably folds close to 0% the 2nd nuts to a rejam

It's probably worthwhile reflecting on SB's calling range on the flop, given the turn x-r that screams 54. So what side cards to 54 calls a 50% flop bet from OOP? Obviously hands such A-J54 but also some A254 (not much A3). Alongside these Ax combos are the hands which often contain a 6 (e.g. 4568, 2456 etc). I don't have access to Propoker tools atm, but if we weight these two broad categories of hands (Ax v low rundowns) I suspect there are more Ax without a 6 in his range. Considering the bet-sizing tell, which isn't likely an inducement or targeted bet, plus the minor blocking impact of our 7, I reckon turning our hand into a bluff likely has greater EV than calling or folding.

In the LLSNL forum we divulge race and say fold pre πŸ˜ƒ

I think 45 and 46 can both take this sizing as they’re worried about hero being scared of the one liner.

But again, that is not what I said. I didn't guess that villain is a noob drooler. I didn't present any "logic". It almost seems as if you hurt your feelings, which I find entertaining.

What I did say was that in my experience people give massive sizing tells. And I don't think the field in live 2/2 is very strong...

In game, we jammed, we prayed he doesn't have a 6, prayed he is going to fold.

V tank call for a chop.
He looked at me before calling, I had a feeling he called cause I was asian.
He had 45KT???
He left shortly after.

Worth thinking about whether this Villain adjusts his calling threshold on the river, in the future, now that he knows opponents also bluff (although he may still think you're value raising). And, of course, worth considering if this villain is indicative of a player type, especially live, or if he's just an anomaly.

Im glad my hurt feelings give you entertainment.

I dont mind the jam if V is capable of folding chops although i dont think we have enough info, like you said the live 2/2 field isnt very strong so seems like a reverse freeroll jamming here.
