- Pre - am I just never supposed to limp here? Seems like -ev to fold pre if BB never opens?
- I'm not sure there's much to say on the flop
- Should I just be jamming the turn, targeting Jx and draws? I feel like we have too much behind to get called by worse often enough? Small sample size, but villian had shown decent agression post. In game, I was just hoping to check/call river and see Jx

Preflop is a fold, but calling doesn't lose much. Flop is a fold also. Turn is maybe a shove. I guess call river, but not real happy about it, as you have about the worst trips.
Yo.
BB has like 12 hands in your HUD, 3B so far is 0%. Fwiw 3B wouldn’t show a hit here, you’d probably just look at vpip/pfr, and thru that lense he’s active @50/33.
All in all it’s very hard to make even a medium strength hand -> fold. You’re oop with 8hi no kicker
[*]Pre - am I just never supposed to limp here? Seems like -ev to fold pre if BB never opens?
There will be hands that are limps in an extreme situation like this one where BB never opens. It won't be 86o. Fold pre.
[*]I'm not sure there's much to say on the flop
There is. Fold again.
I personally wouldnt pay to play this 4 way (or two way). Lets say it folds to you, would you complete this hand with no one but bb left in the hand? I wouldnt - even in that situation i believe its a -ev call. Some hands gain EV by implied odds multiway - mostly hands that can make the nuts like suited connectors, pocket pairs etc. That hand is not one of them - it is very hard to make a good hand AND get other players to get money in AND at the point where you did make a good hand and someone else puts money in to not run into a better hand. Even in this situation where you made trips (which is one of the best outcomes with this hand), you arent too happy when other players start putting money in. I dont believe that the rarest cases where we make trips/straights/full houses pay for the preflop investment and all the times where we check fold flop or run into better hands.
You have mangled the hand because of failure to understand what villains stats really mean. A 0% 3B for 12 hands is completely meaningless. Even if he is actually playing a 10% 3 bet range, he will go 12 hands in a row without 3 betting about 28% of the time. The sample size is simply not enough to make it worth deviating. Just fold PF
ez complete even with 54o. Any Ax, and obviously stuff like 62s, Q8o+, J7o+ etc.
It's a winning play, nothing else to add. U'll see it over a 2M hands sample, but u can trust me on this one.
Yes fold pre what are we doing

Not a lot of hands on opponents, but table looks juicy, so yes, complete is fine.
Flop is a fold though, OOP w/ multiple raises.
As played, MW on the turn, I'm not jamming. Call is fine.
River is a call.
preflop fold
