Political Cartoon, meme and Comedy...
Political Cartoons and editorials have HISTORICALLY been part of the landscape of society for centuries...

Someone is going to have to explain to me what that was.
I have a feeling that junker_jo has never been to the ghetto or knows what a "ghetto daycare" looks like.
I've seen stories about the recruitment process where background checks (including for history of violence / domestic violence) have been approved prior to documentation being sent in, so this comic might actually be quite apt.
I do not know how reliable those stories are, but ICE was 10k at the start of 25, and has reportedly grown by 13k bodies over the year. Scraping the barrel and ditching screening seems like plausible consequence of intense political pressure to deliver numbers. This administration certainly has a pattern of poor leadership and governance.
Add to that a political and administrative leadership which poisons the well like it is their day job and seems hellbent on no oversight, transparency or consequences for botched operations, and the conclusion becomes that this is a very grim state of affairs.
I know that this issue tends to divide along the line of views on immigration. However, people who are critical of immigration should also be concerned with this. Their political views and visions will not be well achieved by an incompetent agency, lack of professionalism, miscarriages of justice and the increasingly critical public opinion that results from it.

Of course they SHOULD, but these are incredibly stupid human beings. They cannot think 2 steps ahead.

AI slop.
You’re better than this, fellas.
Are you saying Trump isn't a karate champion?

Milli Vanilli broke my heart. I didn't trust German Eurodance duos again until about a half dozen years later with La Bouche.

I listened to Fabrice Morvan's audiobook shortly after it came out last summer. It was decent, although not great , IMO. I am surprised the ratings are so strong for the book on Amazon. Like I said, it is a decent read/listen, but so much of the book just seemed a repetitive rehash of "We were young, poor, naive and taken advantage of."
