**** it time to cry myself to sleep.
I never could get a feel for what makes Harbaugh a successful coach. He never comes across as fiery and he isn't a strategic genius. Yet everywhere he's been -- San Diego, Stanford, Michigan, 49ers, Chargers -- it was serious ascending toward or to the top. His stint at Stanford was ridiculous: "Let's take down the USC dynasty and then start routing them." Impossible. He did it. Michigan catching and passing Ohio State and titling. Tremendous. His record is 144-52 in college, 66-31 in the NFL (plus 5-5 in the post-season).
In the league not quite as good obviously but still a ton of success. In fact he's on the list of highly successful coaches at both levels. There was another coach like that in that you just couldn't get a feel for what made him so good in all his travels and successes: Larry Brown.
Larry Browns a good comp.
Taskmaster, “culture”, do a bunch of little things right, raise the floor, have a couple shots at overachieving, start wearing on people after awhile and burn all your bridges on the way out.
The Eagles were lousy in the entire second half of the season, going 3-4 the last 7 games with 2 of the wins being against horrible teams, and no impressive performances the last 9 games. The 49ers were better. What you do for 9 straight games is what you are, not an aberration. They collapsed up 21-0 at Dallas and were never any good after that. Their entire edge disappeared.
The Eagles were awful, but can people please leave the WTF last week of the season from this stat. The Eagles rested their starters and basically took the L before the game started.
Feel as good about HOU -3 as I did NE -3.5.
Is this the greatest viewing football weekend ever? Five nights and days of elimination games in the countdown to #1 college and pro?
Xavier Hutchinson 1st TD +1750
Tomlin has made the playoffs in 13 of 19 seasons and still never had a losing season?? What kind of comparables are there on that?
All I've heard about this game are things about the Steelers
Everyone picking the Steelers pregame
#thisisfinefireallaroundme
Peyton/Eli or Aikman/Buck? Who ya got?
Troy Aikman is our modern day Madden.

John Harbaugh has made the playoffs in 12/18 seasons and has only won less than 8 games once. Technically 3 losing seasons, with two 8-9.
Both he and Tomlin have a SB win. Both of those wins were a long time ago.
I agree. Not enough to wager, but the Steelers run ends here.
Also who on earth is rooting for CJ Stroud less than Aaron ****ing Rogers
