We play for awhile until OMC limps the SB, we jam for 11 BB effective with A9o, and he snap calls with…..Q6o?!?! We hold and are down to two.
The big stack goes “how much are you playing?” I was sitting at 310k. He had 470k. He asked for a chop and I was about to snap turn him down, and he clarified “50/50, $1k each?” I asked him if he was sure, and repeated the stack sizes. He stuck his hand out, and we nearly beat his hand to the middle to make a deal.
I made a deal with myself before the trip for no chops and to maximize our edge from short-stacked study and playing heads up online, but that assumed ICM chops. I don’t regret it, at 10k/20k/20k, I don’t think I have a ~20% edge when 15 BB deep.
Either way, big end to the trip, with some sports bets wins offsetting poker losses, we end almost even. Off to Ellis Island for some $5 craps, and then we head home.

Anything close to a break even trip to Vegas is a win in my book. Thanks for the report. Big fan of your food choices as well.

Ship it! 😀 I agree that it makes sense to take the deal. With the crazy blinds towards the end at Caesars daily tourneys, I doubt the edge is really big unless opponent is a 70-year-old OMC who have never played HU in his life.
