Just part of poker ..keep grinding .

Just part of poker ..keep grinding .

While i know you are probably being sarcastic, thank you for behaving.

Its okay Franz, this guy is a straight up loser.

This thread straight up tilted me because I wasted my time giving this guy (who I thought was a reasonable, humble, and logical person) good advice in his thread (my reads were way off, never judge a book by its cover).

Not to mention other individuals giving amazing advice which this guy thinks he is still smarter then.

Why did you think i mentioned that American's have so much ego?

This thread is here to stroke his small ego and like someone mentioned previously is to help build his staking profile or backing.

I dont even feel bad for this guy anymore, we have all played with a pman player time at our tables before at the casino.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic about me being sarcastic. Anyway, I also appreciate that you're behaving.

Insomnia struck, not playing today. In other news, new vlog; enjoy...

Do you have any direct plans on how you are gonna grind moving forward?

Like,do you have any spesific volume goals or how many days pr week you are gonna play? Or maybe you have a certain amount of tournies/bullets you wanna reach pr week?

Just curious on this regarding the new staking deal.

I don't have exact volume goals, but I'd like to play as much as possible. I think every week will be a little different. Probably play 5 days a week and fire away.

5 days a week should give you solid volume if you keep firing away. How much is considered a decent volume samplesize online in terms of gauging your likely winrate? I only play live,so i am not an expert on this. Is 2500 tournies an ok sample?

It depends on who you ask. 2500 tournies is a nice number; depends on field size and average buyin I'd imagine. My avg buyin will be around $33-$44 i imagine mainly acr and coin. ACR has bigger field tourneys, coin has a bit smaller field but still good value tourneys.

I was typing this as I got your notification:

Good morning everyone. Today's plan:

Recording a podcast with my friend about some interesting non poker related topics in ~an hour. Then later this morning I have a coaching session, going over an ICM spot where I jammed A8ss for my last 13bb as the short stack (this was from the 6th place finish i had on coin a few days ago). Also looking at a spot where i have AJo in a hj vs bb srp on AJThh

I might fire an afternoon session after that, or go to the gym (i know right?) with my friend. Have a great day everyone.

I know I'm probably reading it the wrong way but the "I didn't play poker because I'm not doing other things" always tickles me. Like...you can't sleep...so play poker! You aren't working...so play poker! I know you're saying that you're tired and don't know when the Ambien is going to kick in, but the phrasing is amusing.

I listened to your vlog, why don't you have a mic? Just a little one that sits on your desk or if you really need to show off your parking lot, one of those lav mics that clip onto your collar? I paused on the couple of shots you had of your desktop, why is nobody tagged/noted? Do you not note players that you play against, or look them up in public databases to start to get an idea of how to range them?

Both seem like very straightforward spots that you could look up yourself very quickly. The FT p/f spot you could just plug into an ICM tool and get an answer as good as or better than any coach could give you. If you're paying for coaching, you should probably be looking at larger meta-based approaches and/or database review to help you plug bigger leaks.

I'm looking at an extremely small sample size, so take this for what you will, but the way you speak about poker, both in general terms and hand-specific terms, is similar to the way that people who don't really study speak about poker. The only way to fix that is to hardcore study, grab charts, grab a solver, start plugging away. It's not like riding a bike where you fall down a couple of times and then you get it, it takes active focused work to improve. To that end, I'm curious about one of the hands you mentioned in your video, it sounded like you had KsJx on QTxx three spades and your opponent had a set of tens? Could you post that whole hand history?

Hey rolled, how's it going.

I don't like to play poker if i can't sleep lol, i'm usually half awake. Not a great mental state. I am playing poker though. As of saturday i'm back on the mtt grind. We'll see how it goes.

Is the audio quality of my phone bad? I have a lav but its annoying to use and sometimes the audio gets effed up, much easier to just use my phone for the quick snippets. I have a mic on my computer but need to get a new one; computer mic doesn't sound good. Nobody was tagged / noted? If it was on coin, i just started playing there and have literally 1 person tagged. On ACR i use PT4 for most of my tags / stats.

I look up players on sharkscope when i FT. I didn't do that for the coin ft because players have to choose to opt in and few do. Usually a waste of searches.

I'm not paying for a coach. But the two spots i mentioned were reviewed and a pip to wide. I did look those spots up myself 😀 sometimes i actually study (i know hard to believe)

Let me try and find that KJ hand for you...

found it. Good argument can be made for playing turn differently. Let me know your thoughts?

I think you're grinding really good.

Played a few tourneys today, had a min cash on acr and soft bubbled a small coin poker 6 max.

Who is giving you this stake... your friends?

Why dont you ask your backer for advice? Or is he your dad or someone non-poker related that's backing you?

You seem like you have some people in your network, so you can probably not opt for coaching?

I am surprised they put this much faith into you when you dont even know what to do in this spot of the HH you posted. It looks like you just started playing poker tbh.

Theres no shame at working at taco bell then grinding the best games during peak times. If games get good you can always just tell your boss at taco bell you cant come into work the next day.

Also you might meet a cute girl at taco bell whos into bald dudes who play low stakes poker, just food for thought!

Taco bell managers and Panda Express managers can make 65-80k per year so id look into that too.

Just curious: Aside from the large score ($45k?), would you say you are a winning player? And if so, in what games?

It seems like when I scan this thread, you're bouncing from MTTs, Live Cash, online cash, etc.

I am someone who crushes 1 game type and am only so-so at a few others, I wonder why you don't try to at least get very, very specialized at one game type.

Most of the ppl that blog on 2p2 now are terrible at the game. They don't study using solvers, they don't do session reviews with their peers, and dont put in the hours needed to win and make a decent living at this game and especially suck at taking any advice/accountability for their results. No need to get so emotionally invested in this blog lmao. It's like watching a car crash, terrible but can't keep your eyes off it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Have a great Wednesday.

In other news; new podcast live! Enjoy.
