Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards
Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?
I have read about it in the past, just curious.
Not sure where you got these, but there has been a 5-10x multiplier period in Vegas in June and December the last few years. So. if one has not been announced yet in whatever source you're using, I think people can expect Caesars to add periods pretty much whenever their demand is relatively low (like summer and the holidays).
Does anyone know roughly how many tier credits for a unit of time and your average bet size you get playing craps?
As others have said, your rating (avg bet) will entirely depend on the floor person overseeing the pit. It is true, that not being a jerk is a good strategy for getting a favorable rating. And just to be sure, it's a good idea to ask them what you are being rated at prior to leaving to clear up any disagreements. But of course, this requires you to take time before leaving, and interrupting the floor if they are trying to get other things done. It is a major pain sometimes and a huge flaw in the system.
I have it on some authority that Caesars has been working on a camera system which would be used to take all such judgements out of the hands of the floor. So long as it is reasonably accurate, this would be a major improvement. In my experience in some of these places where the floor are either stretched thin or simply incompetent/poorly trained, they will just mark you down for the table minimum and that's it. This is why it's important to get it straight before leaving the table if your rating matters to you.
It appears they have eliminated the automatic comped rooms for every 5k in TCs.
Without this, there’s really no reason for me to earn TCs this year at all (I have Diamond+ through Jan. 2027 and I can always re-earn it in early 2027 if I decide it’s still worth it.)
A while back I asked a host if there was any benefit remaining to earning between 15000 and 74999 tier points if one were not a habitual drinker. Just think about how much play that involves for typical mid-level gamblers. Anyhow, the host couldn't come up with any.
They have really messed up their loyalty program (and lots of other things, I presume) and need to scrap the whole thing, starting from scratch. Or they can just keep shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic (stock price down some 80% in the last 4 years).

I was looking more for something like "I played for half an hour betting $25 to $100 and got XXX tier credits.", then I can just interpolate and adjust for my level of play.

If they're a habitual drinker, they can get free drinks in the casino anyway. Where it makes a difference is getting package beverages and drinking them in the room. That's gone now.
IMO, and experience, this is not a fixed thing. I tend to bet fairly consistently and even when I verify my rating, it seems like the points I earn per hour vary a non-insignificant amount over the course of many sessions. I will say there seem to be certain play time thresholds which boost points earned. For example, in my experience, playing for an hour will be a fair bit better than playing for 50 minutes. My only advice would be to bet the amount you feel comfortable betting and keep close track of your points earned. If you're anything like me, you will be astonished at how variable it is but hopefully over time it averages out to something which you're satisfied with.

Yes. I mainly used the benefit for bottled water and Starbucks (the latter only because of the ridiculous price gouging Caesars does with its owned franchises). Starbucks Caesars prices are in the 80-100% higher range than normal Starbucks prices, which obviously aren't cheap to start with.
Anyhow, like I mentioned, there is virtually no benefit to being a Diamond+ (25K Tier points) anymore, and certainly nothing in the vast desert of tier territory between 15000 and 74999. Frankly, if you look at what you get for Diamond Elite relative to what you have to do to get it, it's amazing anyone chases status anymore.
I'm not sure all the tier credits I've earned in my lifetime would get me to Diamond Elite.

True only if you want it to be accurate. Some people are really good at getting pit bosses to give them much higher ratings than they deserve consistently.

It's strange how they aren't seeing the value of just getting someone in the building who actually does gamble. The whole point of tier levels and perks along the way that cost them almost nothing is to get people to keep gambling. Once someone hits a level, and the next benefit is so far away they reasonably can't hit it, they have no incentive to push themselves.
Maybe they bring the room benefit back, maybe they don't. But even when they had it, if you're willing to give away 7 rooms at 35k why not give 10 away at 50k? I mean the higher up you go in TC, chances are the player earned more comped rooms anyway - but capping it at 7 per year really made no sense. If someone was at 35k and knows they can't hit 75k, give them a little incentive to keep playing. It's not rocket science.
Bonus TCs hit my account overnight, one week after checkout. Not kidding myself that I didn't get hugely lucky in this effort lol

Mine just hit as well. Diamond Elite for the first time ever in 5 nights of gambling. The 10x is the way to go. My out of pocket cost was less than $300 by playing VBJ (TBC would be proud) and VP JoB.

congrats!
what does your comp calendar look like for the various properties? Any different than your previous status tier?
May have a crack at a 10x event in December. I'm slightly over 5k TCs with an eye on diamond. I know variance will swing wildly in different directions, but what's a ballpark figure for "buying" 1k TCs in VP? I anticipate spending maybe 10-15 nights in Vegas in 2026, which means diamond is worth approximately $750 to me ($50 in waived resort fees x 15). Wondering if the juice i

PSA: based on my recent trip to Vegas, and under the category of “What have the brainiacs at Caesars come up with now to make their customers not want to buy their products and services”… as of this month, if you want to get your 4 free drink vouchers at a casino bar, you have to have the Caesar’s rewards app installed on your phone. Furthermore, you have to go into your phone’s settings and turn on location services for the app. I set it to “while app in use”, and it didn’t work. Setting it to “always” worked.
In other words, somehow being required to present your Rewards card and ID was insufficient to determine if you are qualified for the perk. Most likely, someone responsible for their app download count decided their numbers would look better if they forced people to download the app in order to participate in the perk. Of course, they don't really care if it hurts gaming revenue or perception of the brand. Those figures aren't' part of the spreadsheets they care about.
Anyhow, I'm not sure what happens if you don't use a phone, or don't want to install the Caesars rewards app, or don't want Caesars to know your location at all times. You're probably SOL with regard to that benefit. Not to fret, I'm sure they will be getting rid of it at some point.
I swear, this company is trying to go out of business.
ymmv but I’m doubtful that’s the standard.
(Including this month) I’ve just given my rewards card at restaurants, bars, everywhere the drink vouchers are accepted
Best to just take akashenk with a grain of salt. It's all doom and gloom and a Caesars conspiracy with him, lol.
Boy o Boy Ceasars really annoying. I'm in Vegas and in order to get my little drinks from Starbucks I had to download their dopey app. After downloading it, I was still unable to get their free drinks. An hour later it worked. In addition to this, they no longer include the $10 food comp. What penny pinchers! As a big seven-star loser it is well worth it for them to keep me from annoying little things like this. I mean I'm sure the $10 voucher for food probably costs them $2, so it seems like a bad move to me. I've been trying to ween myself away from Ceasars, and this type of cutback (in addition to others) gives me more reason.
I wasn't able to get the room at Ceasars on my offer so I'm staying at the Linq, I've never stayed here until now. The kiosks are broken and the lines are long. Looks like the place is in disrepair. The employees have been very nice though, and the suite I have is very decent. It seems very busy here for a Monday in February.

they already got rid of it for a lot of people.
I was there last week and when I got a card printed the lady told me what you said about needing the app to get the drink. I said so I have drinks on there again? Then she looked into my account and said no. Problem solved lol.
12 years is pretty old for a dog.
